This is just off Schefter's stream. It caught my eye immediately and I almost choked when I found out this was the Bills Draft Room. It's standing room only in there! Compared to the Pats, this number of people is amazing! Wow!
Celtics are also a small staff draft day. Seems like that's the way to go.This isn't a company convention geez. Impossible to concentrate.
Patriots are all business. Bare. Only Belichick and the key info people he needs across pro and college scouting, Caserio, Ernie Adams, and chief of staff.

Safety in numbersWhat you have here is a room full of incredibly insecure human beings that need to feel important.. like an old boys club, most of them NEEDED to find a way into that draft room so they could say "Yea, i was there!"
Its about insecurity and ego
Yeah, Reiss mentioned something similar to that regarding the Pats’ draft room, saying a lot of the scouts doing the work over the course of the year aren’t involved and therefore might feel marginalized. I think that’s silly and kind of juvenile. They’re professionals, they do their job, and by draft day that work should be done. Trying to make people feel included is a… I don’t know, feminine?… way of approaching things. What you have here is a room full of incredibly insecure human beings that need to feel important.. like an old boys club, most of them NEEDED to find a way into that draft room so they could say "Yea, i was there!"
