NFL Draft: Day 2

It’s absolutely absurd to me greedy Williams was touted as a top 5 pick 6 months ago and now he’s on the verge of falling out of the top 50
Maybe teams are finally figuring out that defensive players who don't tackle have limited value.

Joejuan Williams... that's surprising. I don't mind at all, I trust them to evaluate secondary talent and I bet he'll be good, just didn't think we needed it much.

I can totally see him being BPA on their board, and I'm not going to knock it. Just a little surprised.
Makes me wonder if they are thinking about trading one of the corners, or BB sees him as a safety. BB worked him himself and liked his attitude I guess.

IRV SMITH STILL ON THE BOARD :mad::mad:

Thus far, we've gone a big and physical WR and a big and physical CB. I don't know how anyone can hate that approach.

I get he's huge but his 40 time is really low. 4.64. Ill need to check tape on him but that is concerning.
richard sherman had a terrible 40.

jim brown LMAO!!! he's on drugs. hahah that was funny

Could it be, Belichick said, "Great, now pick Williams!" And he meant Greedy, not Joejuan?

Jim Brown took as back to the 2013 draft

Reamer, is he more of a hybrid lb/safety or strictly a cover corner?

He's one of the best press corners in this draft. He just about shut down the Ole Miss guys and Miles Boykin, too. He can play S and cover against TEs, but he's a Brandon Browner / Richard Sherman type of player and I've been on his hype train for a while. I knew we worked him out, and I wouldn't have been shocked if we'd taken him at 32.

Good chance the Browns wanted Joejuan and took Greedy as a consolation prize.

I actually am excited about both picks. By this time I usually am scratching my head and picking my nose

No I just don’t get the trade. He was going to be there at 24th

You have no way of knowing that, and there was a serious run on CBs so they wanted to get their guy.. they have 12 picks, its foolish to just sit and wait for guys to fall to you, you use your draft capital to move around the board and get the guys you covet

No I just don’t get the trade. He was going to be there at 24th

No guarantees of that. Another CB went with the very next pick. This could mark a run on corners.

Besides at 6'4 JJ Williams can cover those big tight ends and/or wideouts that are proliferating in the NFL now.

Jim Brown off by half a decade.

Like the pick but second round DB's scare me.

**** yeah!!!! Also thanks for Donta giving the proper SB champs address Roger wouldn’t give

Loved Donta, flashing the HARDWARE!
