A la Trent Brown from last year?

My prediction is Solomon Thomas. Imagine if we can get him and also if Sweat falls and we evaluate that he is healthy enough to draft.

Only issue is the 49ers may have some sellers remorse after last year...

Cant see thread on this already, but apologies if I've missed it

We trade for M. Sanu.

Agree with the Thomas, think his biggest issue is purely a scheme fit, especially as the 49ers could be looking at Bosa.

No trades on draft day.

We make a big impact trade...2 options:

Trade #56 for AJ Green

Or

Trade #97 for Gerald McCoy

The Vikings currently can’t afford to sign their draft picks even with the rule of 51, so I imagine Trae Waynes or Kyle Rudolph is on the way out this week. Rudolph would be an upgrade, but I’m not sure if he’s worth trading for at a $7.6 million cap hit. Waynes would have to be a team other than the Patriots, because they’re not paying for another CB.

If the Patriots don’t go for a DT early, I’d throw the Panthers a late pick for Vernon Butler. He’s on a very short list of recent first round picks with 0 starts in their first 3 seasons, but he’s been a decent rotational guy and could benefit from getting away from the first round expectations in Carolina.

The Vikings have treadway and Rudolph they could send us.

I think bb takes a run at Patrick Peterson.

Rumors are that the Pats were very interested in him in 2015 although he never made it anywhere close to #32. We saw firsthand how much of a pain he can be during SB 52. He's playing on his 5th year option at around $9.4M at Rapoport notes. Would be very intriguing to me.

Salary too high. Patriots trade for players before their 5th year option. Last
year would have been a done deal.
