We'll do fine. It's tough to play after a road MNF game - as Dallas will discover With Anthony Henry out, not that he's a stud but teams can't afford to be missing CB against us, I expect our game to be a lot sharper next week.

Henry should be back(his high ankle sprain wasn't serious-wasn't wearing a protective boot after the injury). But Terrence Newman IS back-an underrated CB who can cover half the field(he doesn't make Pro Bowls b/c his INT totals don't match Deangelo Hall's).

But to be honest-I don't think we have THAT much of a chance against the Pats, really. I just want to get past Buffalo(a team we SHOULD beat), and I'll be happy.

I'm sure the "we have to play better than this or we'll lose to Dallas" card will see plenty of action in the press this week, but that's what BB and the Pats are best at. I don't necessarily buy into that - I think we WILL play better, but I think it's a new week, with better focus and this is the kind of game the Pats seem ALWAYS to get up for. They'll win by 10+, probably by two TDs or more.

In what world is Terence Newman UNDERrated? He was a #5 overall and he's solid but likely unworthy of such a high pick and the credit he gets for being so. He's an above-average CB, but he doesn't worry me all that much - because of who we have. LAST year he would've scared me. This year, Moss will eat him for lunch, unless they swing all the coverage over again, in which case Donte Stallworth will make Henry and/or that OVERRATED POS Roy Williams (good hitter, can't cover. AT ALL.) look like a member of the JV.

I was going by the report 6 days ago that said "The Fort Worth Star-Telegram believes he could miss a few weeks". There may have been a more recent update.

Regardless I'm glad our opponent will be getting back into town around 4am on Tuesday instead of us.

Newman can also cover the slot, he's very versatile. He's our 2nd best defensive player(Ware being our best).

Anyhow-with that being said, I hope we just take care of business and NOT take Buffalo lightly tomorrow night, b/c I'm not too confident about the Pats.

Especially tough if the Cowboys actually allow themselves to look past tomorrow's game. They do play one, right?

Actually, it might be tougher if Dallas does manage to lose tomorrow... my God, that would be lighting a fire under their butts!

I'd like to direct your attention to "in the NFC." Dallas is good, but DEFINITELY overrated. Pats by 10+.

I keep hearing this stuff "Dallas is Overrated".

So I put it to you ..... Why?

What reasons do you give to backup your assertion that Dallas is overrated?

Do they not have the best offense in the league.?
(please don't - say it is the defenses they've played )

Don't they have a top 10 defense with several secondary play makers?

So tell me why are they "DEFINITELY overrated." ?

its going to be a tough game no doubt. Not only our secondary be tested but they have a great rushing duo. Our D line and LB's will be severely tested with seymour out. Not to mention jason whitten who is a big part of their offense.
