Favorite Day 2 Receivers?

Is it me, or is this one of the deepest WR classes there’s been? Moreso because there’s such a variety of types. Need a yac guy. Need a tall Guy? No problem. Need a speedster? No problem. Need a slot? No problem. I’m going to be very disappointed if we don’t double dip this year (assuming there’s no trade/FA move).

Got some great talent at a few positions. This draft has Wr’s galore, so stocked that there are going to still be some good names there in the 3rd 4th and 5th rounds.

Just started to watch some of those bigger WRs in that 20-40 range. AJ Brown, N'Keal Harry and Kelvin Harmon. Harmon is my favourite fairly comfortably based purely on tape but I wish he tested better athletically. Great routes, great physicality, excellent blocker, nice hands. There were some disappointments to Brown's and Harry's tape. Brown is smooth but lazy and shows his frustrations with his QB too readily. Harry has some dodgy hands, at least on the games I watched, and his routes can be lazy at times.

Now onto Hakeem Butler and Arcega-Whiteside.

Lance Zierlein's player comp for Stanley Morgan Jr is an interesting one after this FA period. Adam Humphries.

Interesting. I didn't like Harmon's routes a ton. I think he's a bit slow and late out of his breaks. Obviously his ball are exceptional. Harmon and JJAW are definitely the contested catch kings in this daft. I'm a big fan of Brown's versatility and his YAC.

My bold claim? Harry is a good OC away from the pro bowl as a rookie.

I like AJ Brown a lot. He seems the most pro-ready. He runs nice routes and sells them particularly well, has solid hands and can get down the field if needed. He mostly plays the slot but can play outside. He does his best work exactly in the areas Brady is most comfortable with. He just strikes me as a guy you won't be disappointed with but maybe doesn't have the highest ceiling. He's a slam dunk 80 catch 12-13 yard a catch guy. Given we need a WR to come in and play significantly, he seems the best option for me. I also like Harry but maybe nearer the mid second.

My favourite second round player is Parris Campbell. Yes he requires a lot of work as a WR but he is an offensive weapon in the Percy Harvin/Tyreek Hill mould. Would love to get him in the mid second. He can take the KR role and Patterson's role as the jet sweep guy while learning to run routes. Mecole Hardman is my backup if we can't get Campbell. Hopefully in the late 3rd/early 4th.

I like Boykin and Hall too as stretch the field types in the 4th. Tbh there are so many receivers I kind of like. It's a good year to need a couple.

Give me AJ Brown and Boykin and maybe Renfrow or Sills late and I'm ecstatic

Chris Simms gushes about Parris Campbell. Calls him the #2 WR in the draft after Metcalf.

Campbell's 4.31 speed and kick return ability could be a real asset for the Pats and he could be available in round 2 as well.
