Kraft Orchids Case - Prosecuters Want a Tug Rule?

No, it’s protocol. How many times do I have to tell you that?
Apparently rly many because you keep thinking that is meaningful.

If a mafia mob or a drug ring is being investigated, they don’t arrest member for small crimes because it blows their investigation
Of course they do and they try to get them to turn into witnesses to save thrmsrkvesx happens all the time.

And they certainly don’t announce a wider investigation is on-going!

Again your speculation, not fact. And you have no idea where that investigation stands. It may be that they made these arrests in order to bring the girls in to pursue the investigation. We don’t know.

No media can print things about the feds that aren’t true. The feds refused to get involved buddy
Lol
TMZ. Hahaha

I just lost respect for you by the bucketful.

Oh Jesus “TMZ said”.
That’s less proof than “my friend thinks”
I never said my friend thinks Andy. Don’t post things I didn’t say. A police officer told me what official protocol is

It’s going to come out the feds weren’t involved and I’m looking forward to you admitting you’re wrong

Amazing, another admission from AJ that women may just be prostitutes and not sex slaves. He needs to stay up all night more often since he sees clearly now.

That is not what his position was at all.

Please post anything to back this up.

IMO, if this is true, the raid was a fishing effort. If there was probable cause to believe there was trafficking, then the feds would have been involved.
Here from a recent article. I'm sure Andy will want a written letter from the Feds as proof. Make your own judgment.

"That applies to Kraft, who faces two counts of solicitation, as well as the other 25 johns in the sting as well as the four people who operated the establishments. In addition, citing sources, TMZ said that “prosecutors have seen ZERO evidence of human trafficking to this point,” and no federal agencies got involved with the sting because they had not seen any evidence of trafficking."

Robert Kraft & Other Suspects Receive No Human Trafficking Charges In Prostitution Sting

"Operators of the Jupiter, Florida, spa involved in allegations of solicitation against New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft are reportedly not facing human or sex trafficking charges.

When details of the investigation into several spas in the area were announced Feb. 22, Jupiter police chief David Kerr said, "Concern centers around the possibility of victims of human trafficking."

According to TMZ Sports, none of the 30 people charged as part of the prostitution sting are being charged with human or sex trafficking charges since there is no evidence that either occurred.

While the prostitution sting was said to be part of a crackdown on human and sex trafficking, TMZ Sports reported that nothing has turned up in that regard five months into the investigation. Also, the FBI and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) opted against getting involved in the investigation because of a lack of evidence."

TMZ: Suspects from Spa in Robert Kraft Case Not Charged with Sex Trafficking

The state of Florida loses this case. Damage is done either way tho.

LMAO, I said the same thing and you hit it with a thumbs down

You’re trying to make it more complicated than it is. Keep it simple, focused and precise

Human trafficking is an awful and serious crime. Arresting 50 guys for a misdemeanor and trying to say it’s connected to a state wide trafficking investigation tells anyone involved to clean shop and get out of Dodge.

Authorities would NEVER do what they did if that spa was involved in human trafficking. And that’s because it’s clear it wasn’t

So they incorrectly stopped illegal activity from happening?

So they incorrectly stopped illegal activity from happening?
Very minor illegal activity. But if the goal was human trafficking, they don’t make these aressts nor do they watch videos of handjobs while women are being held captive...if they were being held captive

And we know they weren’t

Because law enforcement and prosecutors have a long, documented history of stretching the truth, outright lies and omission of key facts the defense is supposed to be privy to?

And as I've mentioned, I'm generally sympathetic to law enforcement. But when it's abundantly clear they are wasting all this time, money and resources on something so trivial as a consensual BJ inside a private dwelling, they're going to get even more scrutiny from me when it comes to following proper protocol.

So when the police catch someone do something (in your opinion) slightly illegal they should let it go. They should only focus on the more illegal stuff. haha

Happens every day. Police botch cases. Would be felons get charges tossed all the time, because law enforcement botch or overstep their bounds. Our justice system isn't perfect, but it's the best one ever created. There are reasons why defendants have such protections. Why double-jeopardy laws exist.

Not only is this what I think, but in many jurisdictions, this is what police actually do each and every day. Police ignore minor stuff routinely to get to bigger fish and I'm thankful they do. Otherwise, we'd be in a world of hurt right now.

Here is a 31 year ex-FBI agent describing a sex trafficking case in Michigan that the FBI investigated with local LE. They went after the operators, didn't use cameras, didn't charge the girls, didn't charge the Johns, used traditional investigative methods and got convictions and closed the operation down.

This is 100% opposite to what was done in Martin/Jupiter with opposite results. Reading this has me convinced this was nothing but a fishing expedition by LE, an abuse of the sneak and peak warrants to bust a local prostitution ring and embarrass the johns.

Man, I love what you're doing here, but you're just wasting your time with certain posters who have dug in their heels. Anyone who knows anything about law enforcement, prostitution stings, knows this "investigation" in Jupiter is peculiar. We've now had umpteen lawyers and former LE go on record about this, who have no dog in this fight, agreeing with what you're saying. You can post a thousand articles. Certain ones here still butthurt over Kraft's response to Deflategate and aren't going to let logic get in the way of that.

Our justice system is quite fair and robust when it works properly (and for whom it works properly). We need to make sure it works for more people, more often.

But, yes, I entirely agree with your sentiment.

Show the tapes. Lets see if his mushroom is bigger than little one.

Having said all of that I do believe that law enforcement makes mistakes, and in some cases (the Avery clan) wrongfully convicts innocent people, but this case isn't one of those. Kraft looks to be guilty of a crime.

The two items aren't mutually exclusive. Kraft could very well have committed a crime, while the police overstepped their bounds, thus compromising the legality of their case against Kraft.

That Kraft may have committed a crime doesn't make Kraft wrong for exercising his legal rights. We would all (hopefully) do the same if it we were in his shoes. These are rights afforded to all of us under the Constitution. There are good reasons for this.

Of course they do and they try to get them to turn into witnesses to save thrmsrkvesx happens all the time
EXACTLY!!!!!!!!

But since none of those arrested at the spa could be witnesses, why make these arrests and then hold a fuggn news conference about it as if your force did something big and important?

I try to avoid them whenever possible.
Yes, I’ve noticed how ignorant you are on this subject and have no desire to actually educate yourself.

I do.

He has been pretty much on the money thus far.

Respectfully imo.

You’re always cool with me @Tony2046 . Actually @AndyJohnson is fine too...there are just subjects where we disagree so I don’t engage, and probably more where do agree. I was just more just make a wisecrack.
