4 years, $37.5 million, $23 million guaranteed

Have fun with the Giants

Are you freaking kidding me...

Pity...

need to draft a WR early yikes

Just over 9 million a year. We offered more to Humphires. What the f.uck.

I hope we have a trade in the works.

****ty WR market. Pats weren’t gullible enough to talk themselves into what other teams were. It may be an area of need, but it was all bad value. It was a question of how bad they would allow the value to get. Have fun losing Tate...everyone is about championships until they get offered more by a bottom feeder.

It seems Humphries was the only guy who intrigued them, but what a price tag. Again, crap market.

Damn, would have loved for the Pats to get him at that contract.

I just never believed the rumors of him coming here because I know how how we'd make the numbers work with the other stuff we need.

We have to hope Gordon comes back and that Gordon, Edelman, Dorsett and whoever else is good enough. We're risking a pretty rough scenario where we don't get Gordon or Gronk back and then I don't even know what our passing game will look like unless Dorsett starts channeling his inner Deion Branch.

We need Gordon to get his nose clean for good.

Yeah that doesn't sound good.

The dollar amounts are vastly different, but this sounds a lot like when 30 year old Matt Forte had big plans to join a contender to finish out his career, until a crappy New York team offered two years guaranteed. (He went 5-11 twice with the Jets.)
