McCourty twins are back

My hope is that Obi improves this year.

There are likely to be defensive back roster spots opening in 2019, at safety and at corner.

Of course, Belichick might draft a safety, and have Obi fight with Crossen for a 12019 roster spot. Also, we seem to have one DB injured in camp almost every year.

I am hoping that Obi will develop to be much more than just a STer. He has CB speed and agility and was supposedly a smart kid. Injuries and the coaching change seemed to have sabotaged his time in Oakland.

I REALLY want to see him getting some consistent snaps on the defensive side. Chung, who usually plays over 90% of the defensive snaps) could use some down time this year. Plus I can really see him being a great matchup option against certain TE's and big WR's,
This kid is 6'4 and over 220.

That being said, this secondary has the potential to be the best in the league. And in this day and age, building a strong secondary is FAR more important than adding any diva/cap busting WR!

Jason McCourty was a bit "off and on" during most of last season.

The pass break up in the endzone late during the Super Bowl may have saved his job.

Oh I get it, sarcasm

Not really. There were times early in the season when posters here were not exactly excited about his performance.
that goes for every player on the team, including Brady

S: Tim Fox, Prentice McCray

Good to have our DBs intact especially how they progressed into Playoffs (minus Rowe). For first time in a long time I can say confidently and optimistically, when it's all said and done ( see BB) our Def will Top Tier and a force to be reckoned with.

This day is shaping up pretty well so far. Now some good news on Ghost and Ryan Allen please ..

Well as luck would have it, a lot of us are stupid

And, you know, many of us drink which if you think about it often goes hand in hand or hand to bottle to mouth as the case may be

well, I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy...

Great resigning. Pats secondary has some serious continuity and depth now.

So let's get a WR, TE, and passrusher in the draft and we're good to go!

Don't mind a Vollmer type if we can find a bargain at OT either. Not sure Wynn will come back at 100% capacity.

2003 was amazing too. Poole was very good and Eugene Wilson has a good rookie season. Asante was in his second year and Antwan Harris made some plays.

Not to be that guy, but 2003 was also Asante's rookie season (so I guess I just was that guy, sorry). There was huge hype over the two rookies Wilson and Samual that year.

But your point is 100% spot on. That was an exceptional defense with a crazy deep secondary.

The mccourtys, Slater, bolden, Bennett are all awesome

Patterson, brown, flowers, Rowe all suck if they even exist at all

When healthy Vollmer was a borderline All-Pro.

If someone hits dislike you might just have the first post to earn em all.
From your lips to my ears...
Done. And I’m not even lying about it, I fdo dislike stupid.
