Hopefully he will be back...please nothing serious

I don't see how we come out of this good. This really exposes our LBs now :[ We're still a decent unit, but ADT makes us a special one.

WBCN saying it's a high ankle sprain..

Is that just their conjecture, though? Dierdorf said something like "hopefully it's not a HIGH ankle sprain" and I'm guessing BCN just ran with that line of thinking.

I doubt we'll know for a while.

As I said in another thread, it looked bad him getting helped off the field, but the play itself looked like it caused more pain than damage.

There's absolutely no way they know what it is yet--pure speculation, which is annoying.

Any kind of sprain, I'm good with - as disappointing as it is. Tears, ruptures, breaks - those are what would really be bad news.

its possible..just looking at symptoms, where the pain is, bruising/swelling, etc

you can get a very good idea.

Not the end of the world if it's a sprain. He might miss 4-5 games, but as long as he's back for the stretch run and playoffs they are good.

He is back on the field hopefully just a stinger.:rocker:

He's in the game. Some of you might think that's good but it's not. If you can't walk out under your own weight your body is telling you there's something wrong. They pumped him full of cortizone and numbed him up but this is surely during damage to him. This is the very reason that ex-NFL players can barely walk.

Have you ever played football? Sometimes you take a hit that stings like an MF and then it's OK. Chill out.

Good call.

Say what? Dude, relax. The guy is fine. The doctors gave him the ok and Belichick ain't going to risk him in a 20-0 game on October 5th.

this is the 2nd moronic thing you've said today.

Keep it up, you are doing fantastic.

STFU............ he's back in a game that's 20-0. NO WAY HE'S IN THERE if there is any chance it's serious.

this is good. as a note though, Koppen came back in the Cincy game and is out today so sometimes it is a lot worse the morning after.
