A mix of Julian and Hill. It's a deep class, haven't really looked at too many of them yet, I'm sure there'll be a few more binkies revealing themselves when I do.
IMO, an ideal draft needs to end Friday with, in some order, a DE, DT, TE, and WR.
TE - I am assuming hockenson is of the board by 32 and I am not a fan of Fant. But sternburger from Texas a&m is a player that can excel in our option route offense. He can’t block for beans though. And keep in mind, the medidiots say bb is really high on izzo who we stashed on Ir last year.
WR - very few, if any wr’s in this class can run an option route as an outside wr. There are some slot guys, but we have Edelman and berrios already on the roster. We might be better off getting a free agent or two to start and drafting a project. McLaughlin of Ohio state comes to mind.

There could be 6 or more de’s going in the first 31 picks of this draft and still be a talented guy like Ferguson or omenihu on the board when we pick.
Defensive tackle depth in this draft was hurt when Davis and brown stayed in school and Simmons got hurt. But Chris slayton of Syracuse has some impressive tape. And Alexander of LSU is a run stuffing monster and if he had been healthy all year, would be higher ranked. Both are third round type players.

RB - we need a bigger back to join the stable and help out on 3rd and 1. I really like Singletary.
K - I think we bring back gotowski.
P - we could have a udfa at this position.
Defensive secondary - you can never have enough of the guys and I think B.B. is an addict when it comes to over drafting this position. Expect bb to do it again this year.

Isabella is a body catcher with small hands. Those type WR’s rally struggle in the nfl.
I think at least two of Hockenson, Fant and Smith Jr will be on the board at 32. But I also think Hockenson is the only one of the 3 that BB would take, otherwise he'll trade out of the first round.
Hockenson is a solid player, but he's not worth first rounder. If you want that inline beast that's a huge mismatch on the perimeter, how about Zach Gentry, 6'7" 260 out of Michigan? Gentry not your style? There's Kendall Blanton too, who has a nasty disposition.I think at least two of Hockenson, Fant and Smith Jr will be on the board at 32. Tommy Sweeney should still be there at the start of the 7th round, he'd be a late 3rd other years.
Hockenson

Or if you want the flex TE, how about Noah Fant or Irv Smith.
Or if you just want another role playing TE, how about Tommy Sweeney?
Silly season. I've yet to see a bad game or poor performance from Fant in terms of blocking. He's not a killer but hes not a big WR. Same for Smith. A lot closer to OJ Howard than most know or believe.I'm sorry but i totally disagree with you here. Hockenson is the most complete TE in this draft. He's a very good blocker and a smooth reciever. Irv Smith is also not really a flex-TE because he's technically sound as a blocker and i like that he played and succeded at the highest college level. Also i think Fant's blocking gets underrated because you don't see the field as a TE at Iowa if you can't block. I would love one of them at 32 and a guy in the later rounds.

He just doesn't strike fear into a defense the way that other TEs can. Yes, he's complete, but what are his best skills? Would you take Heath Miller in the first?
Maybe I'm wrong, and he's more Travis Kelce than Heath Miller, but I am not convinced at the moment.
I see a fairly refined route runner who understands how to gain leverage and who has exceptional YAC abilities. He's a good, fundamental blocker who can allow you flexibility in personnel packages. I honestly think he's closer to Gronk than Miller.
Its everywhere. Honestly not sure what you're watching. Hes one of the easiest prospects to eval this year.Do you have any evidence of this great blocking? He doesn't look all that big to me, and I'm betting he can pass as solid, but you need more than that to be considered an actual asset in the ground game.
Also, how is he when covered? What's great about Gronk as a receiver is that he's not covered even when he's covered. That's one reason he can be such a volume catcher. If you're just an aware dude that can make wide open catches, that makes you a contributor at TE, but not the next Gronk. I saw some decent catching ability, but nothing that a standard 6'5" 250 guy couldn't do to 6'0" 220 weak midwestern linebackers.
I watched a little of his tape, but I'm just asking if you had any specific games or anything.
