Who's ready for Number 7?

There is plenty of speculation about our team for next season, besides all the free agency usual question of who'll come and go.

Are we really going to see core players retiring? I really can't tell. I think Gronk is more likely to hang his cleats than the McCs

Two names I really wanna keep, but don't think will fit on our cap sapce: Trent Brown and Trey Flowers. I'll dream if by some contract tweaks we can keep'em

We need WRs for next season. Except for Edelman, we don't a have a reliable receiver. And he is 33 next season. Will we go Draft or Free Agency?

Also, most obvious move this season: Extending Brady. I think he can still play.

I think you make your decision between Brown and Flowers.. Keep one and Thats where you begin.

Given we invested a first in Wynn.. I think its more likely we let Brown go and lock up Flowers.

Intrigued by the seaming ascension of J Jones and (to a lesser extent) A Butler during the playoffs. I wonder if that continues in 2019...

Would like to see that, but my guess : both leave for major $$$.

This team has quite a few 'name' players who could be candidates for restructures/reductions/extensions/cuts

Brady
Gronk
D. McCourty
Hightower
Allen
Clayborn
Hoyer

Hope we have a 2010 type draft, would love to get young pro bowl players at positions of need, I feel like this draft is the start of building dynasty 3.0.

Thats because it is. It is reload time. The SB this year was an added bonus.

I don't think they can let Flowers walk. Pass rushers are tough to find. He's a guy you gotta break the bank for.

Not sure about that. He seems like a quiet dude. Big huge paydays from other teams might expect a lot and he doesn’t seem like that type of person to me at least.

Next season will come soon enough.

I'm going to enjoy this one up until the point they unfurl the banner.

Course we can still discuss next season ;-)

was chris long the last FA to sign with us because of chances to win a ring?

now after 3 in 5 and going to last 3 SBs, we may see the vets do that some more from other teams, who all is in that category? (made a bunch of money but has never been to playoffs/SB)

Restructure Brady’s contract.
Lock up Edelman until retirement.
Get some stud big WR who can stretch the field, either via FA or Draft
Lock up Flowers, when you don’t have a true pass rush last years super bowl should be a good example.
We need to draft a young safety core since Devin is getting old and Chung is getting up there and can be injury prone.

We can do without a high pick TE as long as keep Allen as a blocking guy, he does fine in that role.
This is assuming if Gronk hangs it up.

Also I think we should restructure Hightower’s contract...but I don’t think he will.
He hasn’t shined this year other than the playoffs, especially when he wants top dollar like a Mack or Miller...
There are some solid players this year draft.
Our O-Line should lock up Brown. He has the size and strength, another year with the Pats and he might become a pro bowler.

Lastly see if we can get Amendola back from the fins :p he can still contribute for this team!

How much is Trent Brown actually worth in FA? A lot of his success in NE is due to Brady's quick release. Is another team really going to empty the vault for him?

why didn't Atlanta just kick the damn FG...I'm still enraged!:eek::rolleyes::D:eek::cool:

Nope, not me. Not until February 19, the first day to designate franchise and transition tags. Then I will be on flowers watch.

Wonder if he regrets not taking a haircut to win another one.
