What about that new kid, Carlson??Basketball? Pfft, ****y sport. FOUL!
Why don't we compare Brady to Kasparov, the greatest chess champion while we're at it?

Brady is great and all, but...
Here is what I will say.
In the modern NBA the players who have the most championships (which were the star player are their team) are KAJ - 6(kinda counts but honestly not really), Jordan - 6 Johnson - 5 Ducan - 5 Kobe - 5
So out of all the modern NBA players Jordan has the most rings that he led his team to with other 3 other guys just being 1 ring behind.
In the NFL you have Brady - 5, Montana - 4, Bradshaw - 4, Aikman - 3 and a bunch of other guys with 2. So about the same amount of separation with Brady (but slightly better going by a ratio). That is until you take into account how much the post salary cap era has effected the game. The NFL now has almost as many SBs in the salary cap era than outside of it.
In the in the 28 years of the salary cap era 2 QBs got 4 rings and another got most of his 3 rings. In the 24 (soon to be 25 SBs) since we would expect to see much of the same. Except we don't.. Brady - 5, Manning - 2, Manning - 2 Big Ben - 2. No other QB under these rules has been able to win 3 SBs let alone 4 SBs. Looking at it that way this is a huge separation. The longer it goes one without at least one other QB winning more than 2 rings the stronger the case Brady has for being better than Jordan.
The separation between Brady and the pack is MUCH more massive than Jordan and the pack if we adjust for this. Brady wins.
Who is the better golfer?I think Brady would be the better baseball player than Jordan. We know he has the arm and mechanics to be a catcher and we know he has the brain to outwit hitters and manage a pitching staff. If he could hit over the Mendoza line he'd make the majors.
On the basepaths of course it'd be all Jordan.
Orr.Nearly impossible to compare because the nature of the NFL is vastly different compared to that of the NBA. For one thing, 16 game season vs. 82 game season. For another, a great player in the NBA can single-handedly impact the team much more than a great player can in the NFL (Brady does come pretty close though).
The only thing for sure? Only Wayne Gretzky can claim he is THE undisputed GOAT among all sports fans. There will always be some idiot arguing the case against Brady or MJ, but no one will question Gretzky.
What say ye now?
Brady is the GOAT of all sport. Not Jordan. Not Gretzky. Not the Babe. Not Ali. Not Tiger. Not Secretariat.
Football vs basketball point.
What if the coin landed tails up?

Football is one and done not a 7 game series. Mistakes are magnified.Repeating in the NBA is not a piece of cake, but much easier than the NFL.
