How Does a Pats Win or Loss Affect Your Life?

I was so close to have a heart attack. I had to walk away from the game for one minute. So I am great now; survived and enjoying the win!!!!!!!!

It's funny for me, I started seriously watching in 96 (I was 13) and back then I lived and died with the team never wore anything but Pat's clothes and it was such a huge part of my personality. Now I am older and have other things going on but I get to share the game with my 10 year old son.....and I see younger me popping out in him. These days it all depends on how the game went down, tough loss where they competed and just came up short? Over it within a couple hours. Screw job where the refs were awful or the Pat's came out flat and did not play patriot football? that makes me cranky for a couple days. Games like tonight? its quarter of 2 and I am still awake reading about the game.

The Patriots provide so many teaching moments. If they win, you teach your boy dedication, hard work, passion, attention to details and team work. If they lose, you teach your boy that bouncing back is more important. You win either way......

It’s why Nothing****inghappenedgate makes me as angry as it does. I use Tom Brady as an example to my boys what it looks like to be a man and how hard work, preparation, and dedication can take you places you have no business being. For the 32 and gotohell to turn him into a punch line and a cheater has shaken my faith in our justice system to my core.

All that said it is pretty awesome sharing my patriot love and seeing how into it he gets. Sometimes I wish he would fully appreciate just how good they are right now and that it’s rare to go to a Super Bowl. They’ve made it to at least an AFCCG his entire life he has been aware Football exists and is a bit spoiled.

The made-up gate was a great moment too. You do not have to give in to the outside perception. And you do the right thing despite the action might be in your disadvantage like Brady never threw the staffs under the bus.
