If you think about it, the score should probably be 21-7. We should have punched it in on the gl or get 3 at worst, maholmes should have hit a wide open guy in the end zone or get 3 at worst there. So I think being up 14 is pretty fair
I know Romo shrugged off the no call penalty based on the result of the play, but shouldn't' a flag be thrown anyways regardless of outcome? Announce penalty and decline it.
KCs opening possession will be huge. Stop them and they become more desperate and we can kill more clock and get points hopefully. Let them run down the field and score and it's a ballgame
Gordon is elite talent that if he could have kept his nose clean (maybe literally) could have been one of GREATEST WR of all time without a doubt.....Dorsett is a fine average WR for Pats and yes that was a hell of a catch ....but apples and oranges in comparison to Dorsett
Lot's of players could have been amazing if they'd kept their noses clean, not gotten injured, played on different teams, etc. The drug issues with Gordon were very, very real. I have a brother who is an addict. Did Gordon's demise surprise me? Not in the slightest. Don't want to say I was counting the days, but addiction is very difficult to overcome, no matter the support team.
Glad to see Dorsett taking advantage of his opportunities.
With a lead of 14 I am normally comfortable but Mahomes is legit and can turn it on. Our defense also has a history of letting the other team march down the field at the worst time... can’t be complacent in this game. Keep dominating TOP and get points on every drive. Go Pats!
If they'd converted from the 1 but then hadn't driven 90 yards in 2 minutes and change I would have been happy with that 14-0, so I am also happy with this 14-0.
Game is nowhere close to over and it could swing against us in the blink of an eye, but that's about as good a half as we could realistically hope for, all the way down to Gronk turning the clock back a few years.
