We all know that nick wright and Shannon sharpe and max kellerman will be running their mouths all week again about how we’re a terrible road team and can’t win a playoff game away from the friendly confides of Gillette. I hope our team uses it as motivation like they did yesterday.

By saying we suck they are actually motivating us. They are tools.

Fortunately or unfortunately, the Patriots' success over the years has mentally screwed an entire generation of sports fans. Their brains no longer allow them to be objective about the Patriots, so they speak from their hearts instead. Their hearts want it all to be over, all to go away. They repeat BS and exaggerate weaknesses in an attempt to convince themselves there is no way the Pats can win again.

Maybe they will, maybe they won't. But anyone trying to act like the Pats have no chance are fooling themselves and haven't watched the NFL over the past few years. Anyone can beat anyone nowadays, and counting a team out shows their ignorance and inability to objectively look at the league as a whole.

I hope it fuels the Patriots to #6. The Chiefs, Saints and Rams can all be beaten, just like the Patriots can be beaten. Anyone acting like that is not the case is fooling themselves.

I think they will hedge starting today by crediting the game plan and coaching and saying how this is where the Patriots won and have an advantage.

None of them will be able to admit they were wrong about Brady given that so many passes were "short" and they will provide excuses for the Chargers (travel, cold, lb's banged up) even though these factors weren't a point of focus leading up to the game.

I would just like to see some neutral talking heads (if there are any) take theses guys to task and box them in on their excuses and point out their double standards and hypocrisy.

Esiason has always worshipped the Patriots dynasty. He saw the light of greatness immediately

Inside the NFL has gone downhill in a big way but in a few segments this season Boomer depanting Ray (Killed a Guy, probably two) Lewis on Pats takes has been pretty entertaining.

On the flip side, if everyone picks us to win, we still win :D

That kind of stuff can help in one way, by making sure you stay focused in preparation.
Once the ball is kicked off none of that matters.
If you need criticism to motivate you to focus on preparation for a championship game it’s probably too late to help you.
It’s cute for teams that win to play the disrespect card and even believe it but disrespected teams lose all the time.
Players have been known to say they believe that a bounce in their favor proves god wanted them to win. I’m sure the other side thought god wanted them to win too.

The funny thing about all this "short passes" talk is that Brady is throwing outs that go 20 yards on a line to the sidelines, and yes they may only be 6 yards downfield, but it takes accuracy and a very strong arm to throw those lasers, and once the receivers are in a 1-on-1 with a defender, they can shake them for 5 more yards. In other words, he is making very difficult throws across field. It is silly to focus on the fact that the receiver has only caught the ball 6 yards off the LOS when the net result of this very difficult throw is a 10+ yard gain.

Whatever fans that are still out there who questioned if Tom still had more-than-adequate arm strength need to watch the quick out to Dorsett and the frozen rope to Jules.

And look at what the Queefs posted...
