I would not read too much into that...guy has been on IR all season, the chances of him coming in and making any kind of impact are slim.

Chargers have the better TE (Right now), Receivers, RB, O-Line, and defense. I'd take them easily if this game were in LA. But I can't say any team will easily beat a BB & Brady led team in Foxboro in January (Though the Ravens X2 and Jets did it). And frankly, this team has played better this year against top teams. I'll say 34-26 Chargers.

BTW, does Hollister going on IR affect us negatively? Or is he just a jag?

The Chargers best TE right now is a 38 yr old Antonio Gates. If the game were in LA, half the stadium would be patriots fans.

No, not "everyone" is saying that our secondary is bad; in fact, when comparing our DBs to our LBs & DL, most everyone is saying that our secondary is pretty good.

Jake the Fake is not even a JAG. At least JAGs get on the field long enough to demonstrate their JAG-ness; he is/was a Complete Waste of time, money & effort. Good riddance.

The chances are not unreasonable that, if Henry does indeed play Sunday, he will play better than Gronk will.

It almost seems like the media is preparing our fanbase for a crushing defeat at home so we don't get our hopes up lol. I think we're all fully aware that each time the Patriots take the field, they could lose the game. But I still like us in this game, pressure's off, the Patriots are "finished" according to many.

I think we have to win this on defense. Unless the old gronk shows up, Chargers will flood the middle and force us to throw deep to our less than stellar WR core. IF brady hits a couple or gronk can transform back to hulk mode then it will make it easy on offense but i see a defensive game.

I totally agree with this take. His passion will be through the roof Sunday. With that being said, that will not win the game for them (not trying to sound insensitive by any means.)

He just lost his baby daughter. Whatever he decides to do is the right thing for him. Had to be a gutwrenching decision.
Everyone deals with grief differently.
There's not much greater grief than losing a child.
