Kliff Kingsbury wants to pursue NFL job

He was on IR his rookie season and released during the next training camp.

You have got to love how the super secretive NE Patriots are now just spewing out information on possible successor coordinators.

The source for Florio’s report is Kingsbury or his agent. Making people think the Patriots are interested might make some of the teams looking at him as a HC like the Jets look a little closer.
I think the source for Florios report is florio speculating.

Reports are that the cardinals are prepared to offer Kingsbury the job without formally meeting him.
Including power over the roster and upwards to 9 mill a season.

The Jets however are trying hard to keep Kingsbury in NY and have offered him the job and dont want him getting on the Jet.

Maybe I'm out of touch but I am shocked at this.

So hiring a coach without meeting him? What is this, mail order Russian brides?

Assuming Kingsbury lasts more than one season, the Patriots will play his Cardinals in 2020.

Pretty much a given that kingsburys camp got wind of NFL opportunities after taking the USC job.

We’re stuck with Josh and a system that no attainable player actually fits into.

What has this guy really done to warrant this much demand? He was a head coach for a mediocre team not even in the top college conference. He didn't even get hired to be the head coach (just coordinator) of a top program in USC so why would anyone expect him to make the jump to NFL head coach immediately?

This is gonna be an unmitigated disaster for Arizona.

Kliffy to the Cardinals is a done deal, according to pretty much everyone now.

Good move for Rosen.

Time will tell how these moves pan out but starting to see a trend in teams hiring guys to improve their offenses

What they need to do is see if there’s any offensive linemen worth taking with the pick, if their isn’t I believe they should look into trading that pick and see if they can get a haul for it. The main piece would need to be a top 10 pick in this years draft

Amazing that teams are falling all over themselves for a guy who went 35-40 and couldn’t win with Mahomes and Mayfield. Not only that he decided after being let go from TT that he wasn’t going to wait a few weeks to see what NFL jobs may be out there and took the USC OC job. Then he had to quit to interview for the NFL jobs because they rightly blocked him from trying to get an NFL job. This is the guy you want at the helm? Looks like everyone is desperate for the next McVay.

Plus Brady cosigned him
That was sign sealed and delivered head coach

Guy was fired at Texas tech. Did he really think at the time he took the OC job that it was possible to land an NFL HC gig? More likely is his camp heard that a few teams were very interested after he took the job. Is he gonna tell them “thanks but no thanks I’m gonna honor my commitment to SC?”
