Where has he been in this offense lately? He was lethal catching the ball out of the backfield earlier in the season. Now it seems like we rarely give him anything.

Is he hurt? Is it scheme changes? Are teams figuring him out? What’s the deal?

Don't we wish we knew? Many players don't seem to be used lately. How a about Hogan, he is rarely thrown to yet is often open and in the clear. Yesterday he catches a TD in the open and get a PI end of story. Confidence in only Gordon & Edelman. Run Sony Michel constantly. I wish I knew!

certainly a head scratcher. Totally absent from the game plan the last few weeks.

McDaniels is Great OC @ Home and a very Mediocre one on the Road. Too bad the Road to the SB in the AFC ain't going through Foxboro MA.

Mcdaniels has had some duds.
If Brady is starting to decline maybe we are seeing chinks in all the armor.

Josh McDaniels: Who’s that?

Tom eluded to White having a heavy workload. They might be dialing him back a bit
Im sorry rw, but this makes little sense to me. If you are on the field (and he is), you need to play 100%

White is being used, just poorly... before he'd get a lot more passes, now it seems that he is getting a lot morr run plays (not against the steelers tho)

If they wanted to lighten the workload, he wouldnt be on the field...

White has gone from averaging 45 snaps a game to the low 30s in the last 3.

Yeah, basically the same time Rex returned, so there is at least one more factor involved...

In any case, Im just curious of how someone who was a first half of the season MVP can become a non-factor later

Clinch the bye then rest the guy... to me , there's more to it

Inexcusable not to spread out the d and let them try to cover him over the middle more consistently. They ran a play like that on the last drive and he converted with ease. The drops and penalties were bad, but jmd cant be let off the hook for yesterday

I dunna know, man. Prior to Burk making it back he was on a pace to doubling the # of snaps this year from last year. Some players can handle that workload. Some can't.

I think teams are just taking it away. The Titans in particular they were really honed in on White.

devlin has more catches then gronk yesterday right?

I think it’s a combination of Michel and Burkhead coming back and maybe a little wear and tear from all the touches in the first half of the year. Same thing happened to him last year. He had a ton of touches got dinged up then got bubble wrapped till the postseason.

It's really only been that last two games (with Burkhead back) that White's carries and tgts (and production) have dropped.

Anyway, I'm not a big fan of running a guy into the ground every week during the regular season and then have him be less effective in the post season.

Against the Jete, White carried 9/73 yds (his best rushing performance of the season).

Against Minny, White caugth 7/9 or 92 yards, his highest one-game receiving yard total for the season. He's been relatively quiet for the past two games, that's all.

The Vikings game had a 50 some-odd yard catch right before the half that didn’t really matter.

I remember that. Seemed like he barely did anything over the 2nd half then scores like 5 tds against Tennessee lol

Like many of you have mentioned, JW was a beast earlier in the year as a receiver/running back. Why the change? Is he hurt? Did he piss off the coach? Did he piss off TB12? We were much more dynamic with JW getting more snaps. I barely recognize this current set up, plus I've tumbled in my fantasy league and got killed in the playoffs...Still love 'em though! Go Pats!
