Like saying Brady sucks? Oh that's valuable time spent...

When he has a run like he has I understand how hard it is for the simpletons to express even a slight negative thing about Mr. Perfect.

But his last two weeks have been bad. Like, really really really bad.

I'm sure brady disagrees with me and is super happy to come out of today's game with 1 touchdown and two pointless trips tothe red zone.

You can field a LB corps with both size and speed. And yes, I think those changes will be made. The window has closed for this version of the Patriots. They’ll shed a good amount of salary this offseason. They HAVE to hit on their picks in the draft, though. Especially the early ones.

All true but the 2018 draft needs to be given a bit more time for a proper evaluation.

You're a spoiled brat. And you cry like one too. Calm down. It isn't the end of the world.

Oh come now... Why so dramatic?

I'm a spoiled brat for stating the truth about this team? I never said it's the end of the world. Nor am I acting like it. I just simply think this team isn't that good and aren't winning the SB. What about that screams brat? Is it the part where I don't close my eyes and pretend everything is still okay with this team?

I actually agree with this. The league has been trending towards offense over the past decade. Belichick seems to have neglected the defense a bit, or at least place a lesser emphasis on it.

He needs to focus more on athleticism. The wide receivers running around nowadays are rediculous. Getting athletic guys that can pass rush is paramount.

Say what you will about the steelers but they finally realized their scheme wasn't going to work. so they changed it. I think BB is too stubborn to change his scheme. I could be wrong but I think i'm right.

Brady's cooked. It's not physical, it's mental. He's sailing passes, throwing off his back foot with nobody near him. He's got the sort of self-preservation that comes with getting old and a good quarterback can't have that. Does anyone feel confident with Brady with the ball in his hands with the game on the line the way we did last year or the year before?

Hard to disagree with the last few games. He is making mental mistakes (sack in MIA and pick today) that he never makes. He’s 41, and although there is no cliff, he is slowing down. It happens

McDaniels cannot control who Brady throws the ball to. He calls the plays and Brady makes the decisions on the field. Brady, for whatever reason, looks to Jules first and then Gronk. Gordon is a third option. In the past he would say his favorite receiver is the guy who is open. That's no longer the case it seems.

This is not how play design works. Brady doesnt just decide who he looks at first. He has progressions depending on the concepts that are run. Of course if he sees something presnap and knows someone to have a favorable matchup he might just stare down another player to move safeties or whatever. But he certainly doesnt just decide the order in which he looks at players in general.

Gilmore and JC Jackson should be acknowledged for their positive play in this ****fest.

This.

Patterson needs to be on the field more often. He has that try hard energy that Edelman usually brings. Play Dorsett for the simple fact that he actually catches the ball and sit Hogan.

And some Josh Gordon would be nice.

Imagine if we pull off a Cinderella story and win the SB... I still have faith, somewhere.

I'm not sure how these issues are to be rectified. Obviously there's not much that can be done this season; just have to win out, and to peak at the right time.

Going forward, it's hard to imagine things getting better anytime soon. Brady is getting older and seems to be showing his age in some regards. There isn't much salary relief in sight, and there aren't an abundance of draft picks to restock the team.

It's unfortunate that the team is in this situation at this point in time, with Brady's career coming to an end within the next 2-3, maybe 4 seasons. Ultimately Belichick has himself to blame for that, but I suspect he never intended to construct a great team right now for Brady specifically. His formula will not change, and in part that's due to him wanting to have the ability to compete following Brady's retirement.

Blow it up and put something new together.....with a stable front office, that should not be hard

Thought the defense played good. Brady and Gronk have not been the same this year. The playoffs will be interesting.
Au contraire....the Playoffs (if they get there)....will be depressing!!!....Pats aren’t going to be able to fix any of these issues (except hopefully penalties)....and will get ***es kicked in playoffs

Overall the D does not suck but we'll disagree on that point.

The problems are on offense

The D is a joke and any debating should have ended last week. The D is 21st in the nfl.

Still the D was okay tonight it's just the offense that killed them. Too many false starts and holding calls. Sprinkle in Brady losing it and tonight was the result

I agree that the team will need an evolution this offseason. But for our season is not over yet and there will be time to talk about those things once it is.

Personnaly I think they have enough talent on offense to win against anyone and a defense that will give them enough stops to win against anyone. As long as the offense can play up to their potential. Will they be able to suddenly right the ship ? I am not particularly optimistic but if there is a team I will not count out until it is all said and done it is the Patriots.
The team is weak in the trenches and Gronk and Edelman are on the back nine. They’re not getting it done. Had KC not lost Hunt, I’d actually think we’re either the second or third weakest team in the AFC (depending on where you slot Baltimore).

Time to clean house...if your expectations are to be in the final 4, this team is not cut out for it. And looking at this roster, they're an 8 win team next season...

Clean house??? How many times have such over reactions been said. Clean house? Ok. Let’s start with the head coach and QB. Who do you suggest they get replaced by????

This team is showing its age. Slow, no spark, and sloppy as hell.
Showing there age....well said ...including unfortunately...the head coach

I didn't say as head coach, just GM. We have had bad drafts for years.

Yeah you should look again. And also consider that FA, UDFAs and trades are part of the job of a GM. Overall he has been among the better team builders in this league. No team can have sustained success for so long otherwise.

And dont give me any of this Brady makes it all work crap because Brees in NO and Rodgers in GB just show that even elite QBs cant overcome bad team building.

If you cant being your self to day that 10 points against the Steelers who brady has historically gone off on is a bad day then you are inadvertently admitting that bias runs your opinions.

Today sucked.

The whole team sucked. Every single one of them did nothing to change the game.

It's ok, you can say that she next week be the same fan you was this week rotting for the pats. I dont understand why people are so upset at the negative post when they're wouldn't be any if they didnt have a lol loss to the dolphins and didnt go 50 minutes without a td.
