Play calling was mostly fine. Execution was crap.

I have to respectfully disagree.
No hurry up offense no creativity with Patterson or Gordon.
No 2 back sets in the passing game no misdirection it was vanilla ugly Flores gets a gold star Mcdaniels does not.

Got to get a replacement soon. I shutter to think what this team is going to be like with BB's trash D and not a good quarterback. It has nothing to do with Brady's play but everything to do with protecting yourself against injury and giving your next qb an easy transition to start like Patrick Mahomes.

Very un Pat like loss in many ways. Especially in the false start penalties playing like a team that was intimidated by the crowd.

I still despise the run defense. That doesn’t get fixed and we are a one and done candidate.

This year, I would say it was very pats like. We've been seeing them suck on the road all year. Nothing that happened today should be of shock to anyone.

He was actually streaking down the seam and open on the INT. Brady looked at him but didn’t throw to him. No clue why.

One bad offseason and he should be fired? He’s had a few other duds (2009 stands out). It happens. Frustrating that it probably killed any chance of Brady getting another ring, but one horrendous offseason isn’t enough to fire Belichick

I did say the D was okay. Regardless the d overall sucks and it's not if it will fail it's when.

Overall the D does not suck but we'll disagree on that point.

When the game is on the line you throw the ball to your playmakers. I get that. We gave White a few shots, we gave Gronk a shot, we gave Edelman some shots. I’m not saying it would’ve made a difference but it was frustrating not seeing ANY 50/50 balls go Gordon’s way. Give the guy a chance to make a play for you.

A wild card game isn’t fixing the issues on offense or defense. It goes much deeper than that. They’ll win that game, get their asses kicked in the divisional round, and then they’ll have to concentrate on re-tooling this roster. There are some wholesale changes that need to be made on both sides of the ball.

I agree that the team will need an evolution this offseason. But for our season is not over yet and there will be time to talk about those things once it is.

Personnaly I think they have enough talent on offense to win against anyone and a defense that will give them enough stops to win against anyone. As long as the offense can play up to their potential. Will they be able to suddenly right the ship ? I am not particularly optimistic but if there is a team I will not count out until it is all said and done it is the Patriots.
