Sloppy 1st half.

Team needs to score a td next drive. I feel like a loss here will make some players lacking toughness lose more energy. Need a W.

Romo is being nice. But not getting points at the end of the half sucked... Offense was not good in the first half.

D only gave up 14, could be a lot worse, however Offense only scored 7, that was abysmal !

Shin!? Another of those calls never seen before it disadvantaged the Pats and never to be seen again.

Half full: defense atrocious, offense anemic. Down 7 with ball.

Except the shin never touched him

Even if so, he was beyond the first down market before he hit the ground.

No one touched him until after he fell behind the marker and he never went down after the contact from the first defensive player until AFTER the marker.

Crazy fix stuff there and I have no time for it.
The side of the leg or shin has always been down. I remember the exact same call a while ago but can't remember who it was against.

What happened to down by contact? I'm confused. I thought it was only in college where you were down when you fell. He rolled on purpose to get that last yard.

Terrible first half overall, outside of a completely blown coverage the offense has done nothing and only the Steelers ineptitude leaves them with a TD lead.

Edelman had one AWFUL drop, another drop while Haden was close up and Brown screwed us out of a big Michel run with an unnecessary hold. The OL not holding up well in general as well and no WR getting open quick enough to overcome it.

The defense can't stop the run with Malcom Brown just being plain awful and they got screwed on that PI call. The pass defense has its good and very bad moments but are just under more strain because additional resources are being used in the box.

The ST are the only unit that played their asses off so far. The defense with a INT and 2 forced punts more or less outperformed the offense by a thin margin. Not that this is anything to be proud of.

I am in total shock that that was overturned.

First, I didn't think he shin was down at all.

Second, he was ahead of the marker anyway.

Third, after all the bad marks this year, and after Belichick challenged one two weeks ago that was an obvious bad call, and it wasn't overturned because they don't overturn bad spots, and now this?

What kind of horseshit call was that?

If it wasn't PI, it was at least illegal contact
No. It wasn't. Not with what Pitt has being doing to Edelman that they haven't called.

Hard to watch this team play right now.

The defense lacks talent and is entirely uninspiring to watch.

The offense always seems to be a step-slow tactically and executes poorly. Just inconsistent, and certainly more frustrating to watch than the defense. The defense is just bad. The offense should be very good but is shooting themselves in the foot.

Story of the whole season, really.

Why has Edelman turned into Wes Welker?

Every time we need a big catch from him he drops it. And it completely shifts momentum.

What happens now is:

- Belichick and company go into the locker room and try to make some adjustments to make up a 7 point deficit

- Tomlin goes HOO BOY what a game we got this one fellas I'll challenge anything if it don't look good, playoff bound amirite!!!
