****, I've been busted! OK, I'm really a Colts fan. My three year infiltration of the Patriots fan site has been exposed . I'm really

COLTSNUTme

LOL! But I have even a bigger confession to make . . . I'm Broncosnutme! I'm quiet no more. Everyone knows that Bronco nuts are bigger than Colt nuts.

agree.......... lets stop with the negative posts.

Well said, Sir. (NSPF gets to be called Sir because of Her Maj. The rest of you... hmph!)

We let you keep Canada -- America Junior -- and even they didn't stick around to be ruled by the inbred, haemophiliac, horse-faced (and -stealing), nazi-uniform-wearing-for-a-gag, IED-magnet, marble-mouth-talking, Maldives-invading, princess-killing, tampon-envying (in the case of Charles), hereditary cleptocracy you call a royal family.

But I agree, NO MORE NEGATIVE POSTS!
BE QUIET!!!!!!

Horse faced? That's a little unfair.... on horses!

Anyway, the Royal Family are great for tourism. A city of 7 million people needs more stupid people, who stand in the middle of the sidewalk, pointing inanely at everything and generally being a bloody nuisance.

Another anyway. 3-0, THIRTY EIGHT points per game and a team on fire.

Hey, at least when the tourists do it, they have an excuse! and good dental coverage.

Anyway, it's a good time to be a Pats fan, watching the touchdowns, seeing the minuteman guys firing away at imaginary redcoats... D'OH!!! I mean Hessian mercenaries...

"Censorship" is to ban or delete nonesense. Calling nonesense "nonsense" is called freedom and good sense.

If you wish to scour the internet for negative posts about the patriots and re-post them here, so that you can laugh at them, that's fine. Of course, you are free to use your time that way. And further, you are certainly free to say that makes you more passionate patriot fans. IMHO, that has little to do with football or passion. There are many posts here that show the passion of our fans and dedication to the patriots. IMHO, scouring the internet for posts to get you worked up is a waste of time. I would think that the best team in football and one the very best franchises of all time should be sufficient incentive to boost your passions. Fans of losing teams need such strategies.

In the end, you are all correct. Just properly title your posts, and those who want to read the ranting of lunatics from other teams and from across the internet can read and discuss. The others can ignore the posts and the posters. That's not censorhsip. That's freedom.

Ahhh. Censorship.

Would you then be the judge of what is and isn't nonsense?

We have a policy here. Simply put:

This board is for any news and opinion about The New England Patriots Football Team.

What gets censored is unsolicited personal flaming, foul language, sexual content, trolling and info that has nothing to do with the Patriots.

When Ian decides to appoint a "tastemaker", you can apply for the job.

Until then, telling everyone to "Be Quiet" and not to post public info about the Pats, their opponents and other teams' idiot fans filing lawsuits is a clear example of someone not understanding where they are.

Who left the door open to the loony bin.

BTW, he must be the 100,000th 30 year ticket holder I've found. They must have all shared the same ticket. lol

I would say based upon your response that I have been a ticket holder before you were born.

I don't remember how long ago I got them, it was around 1974, 1975, I do not keep track. And I did not sit in the stands with my mouth closed. We hit the tailgates at 9:00am or 10:00am and usually got smashed because we knew overall we were not going to win. But we had fun, and I still like the old stadium better than the new -- real football I call it.

And I went to the SB in 86, and watched my team get blown out, and I sat through two 1-15 seasons in 3 years. I have not won the "lottery" to go to another SB. In the 85 season, all season ticket holders got to go because there were so few of us -- around 25,000 I think. But I was one of them, and darn proud of it. I love the game of football, and I love the team.

So before you speak, think.

I was trying to be civilized on my first post. Something that people need to relearn in this world.

So in a world that you understand, STFU.

No offense, but do you have "30 +year Season Ticketholder" painted on the front of your house?

Perhaps you should go back and read the post that I responded to. There are many Pats fans, like me, that go back to the beginnings of this team. When we were the jokes of the league. I was still a fan. If you have a problem with that, not much I can do about it.

Seeing that that was the 5th or 6th time in the same thread that Pats1Yes has felt a need to declare that he is a "30 + year season ticket holder", could one imagine that his neighbors have had to petition their Homeowner's Association for him to remove the flashing neon "I'm a 30 + Year Season Ticket Holder" sign from the front of his house?

We got the message the first time. You're a 30 + Year season Ticket Holder. Congratulations that must be great. On this board, however, it means NADA. Just as little as the number of posts or the date someone registered here. NADA.

Writing "STFU" to another anonymous poster is just as ludicrous and infantile from a "30 + Year Season Ticket Holder" as from a pimply 15 year old kid in his mother's basement.

Me thinks you are supposed to be a moderator. MODERATE.

First, you'd be wrong about my age. I have t shirts older than 30 years. Second, you're just a sniveling little twit playing internet tough guy. You're a 30 year ticket holder my a@@. You're just some goofy kid playing on his mother's computer and that's the truth.

You could be Billy Freaking Sullivan come back from the grave for all anyone cares. There is a poster who was banned from this Football Forum (who now has his own website) who could run rings around ANYONE here in terms of loyalty and history with the Patriots. He was also banned from 4 other Ptriot fan websites.

Loyalty and history with the team mean NADA when you're preaching to others not to make certain posts that you feel are negative.

If you don't like a post or thread.........skip it or comment in it. I don't care for your thread here, but I would defend your right to make your point any day and - as you can see - have no problem posting in it - -you certainly don't see me deleting it, do you?

This place is a buffet.

If you feel a post or thread is offensive, please report it or PM a Mod or Ian.

Simple as that.

I wouldn't bother. He's just some poser trying to flex some internet muscles.

Ah. You don't understand what Ian asked us to do.

It's to delete foul language, provocative trolling from other team's fans, to merge redundant threads and to move non-Patriot Football threads to other Forums on this site. Nowhere in there is it mentioned to be a "tastemaker".

Moderating "extreme views" is not the job description. If you want this site to change drastically and have someone deleting and banning based on their viewpoint, then please PM Ian (the Administrator whose site this is) and demand that.

There are plenty of sites out there where different or negative opinions on their team are not allowed.

That's why THIS one is so popular.

I wouldn't bother. He's just some poser trying to flex some internet muscles.

By the way:

No one should stoop to his level ("30 + Year Season Ticket Holder Therefore Thou Shalt Bow Down To My Demands) by demeaning him for being a 3 month newbie who is telling the Admin and Mods how they should change how this board operates.

That would be equally silly.

Ah, I see. Okay, if it makes you feel better.

No offense, but it really is not important. Perhaps we should have a little gamble here. If I am not a season ticket holder, then you can pay for my tickets next year. Because I don't have them!

Would that be fair? If you are certain. That is the gamble.

If you choose to call me on this, that would be fair.

Sorry, but I think my post is the first asking people to "cool it".

Take a look at the posts.

Nonsense, total and complete.

i think we need a new forum called "***********". It will be a place were everyone can go and only speak good about the Pats. Maybe light some incents and do yoga, maybe chase out the negative spirit.

This is a message board and people should be able to speak their mind

Okay, I'll call you. You say you're a 30 year season ticket holder. Now, here's the deal, you set up an escroe account and we both put the cost of the season ticket in there with the condition that the one who's right receives the money. Then you tell me how you can prove you're actually the 30 year ticket holder that is posting this and not someone else and get back to me. Until then, I stand by what I said. The ball's back in your court now.
