I can't believe there are 9 defenses statistically worse than ours. Imagine being a fan of those teams
I thought we were ninth in scoring defense heading into this game. Most defenses look like crap with today's NFL.

No, I don’t care dude. You don’t need to apologize. Didn’t mean to offend you or anyone.

I know man, but some people wont let it go. We differ on opinions on this one and that should be allowed. No reason for others to take sides.

Not really.

Unreasonable to expect the offense to put up 35 or more points.

It's not unreasonable for the defense to prevent a 70 yard touchdown as the time expires.

But hey, just my opinion.

If this team didn’t have BRADY, they might win 3 games all season.

Just let that sink in

Belichick is an all time great, but in reality, I no longer think he can be considered the best current coach. His specialty is D, and this team couldnt prevent the local high school varsity team from scoring.

A neutralish field with 65% Patriots fans would be nice compared to a visit to KC.
I live about a 10 minute drive from the stadium and I only know two chargers fans. It's all raiders and Rams fans here

No it really is not hard to ask for more than 6 points in 30 minutes of football. Not with all that talent on offense.

They were a letdown in the 2nd half but imo its offset by a crazy high output in half 1. 9 times out of 10 you will slow down at some point. Would i have liked more than 6 pts in half 2, sure but any day your offense sets you up for 37 points on the road they have done their part OVERALL.

The 2 seed seems to be the best route anyway. Rather avoid having to play both LA and KC in the same postseason

tbf if Gost makes a couple easy kicks they get to 37

You are just scapegoating. The defense was a mirror of how the offense looked in the first half. They only gave up 7 points in 29:53 minutes of the second half and then **** the bed the same way the offense **** the bed at the end of the first half after looking dominant.

Either of the two doesn't **** the bed or plays better in the other half and this game is a W.

And the defense only allowed one touchdown in the second half until the very last play of the game. If they do such a good job for 29:53 minutes you'd expect your offense to play it home.

Seriously I can play the same game. I don't get why people try to somehow pinpoint the loss to specific units or players or coaches if the entire game had failures on all levels that led to this loss.

I expect to win every game we score 33 points or more.

However its becoming quite routine that we dont. Superbowl rings a bell

While I can't say I agree just because I think HFA trumps all other concerns, there is reasonable logic to this perspective. Chargers are playing the best football in the AFC right now.

Your point being ? They get a pass for scoring only two field goals in 30 minutes because in the past this was enough to win games ?
I’m saying it happens. You expect them to drop 27 points every half and be flawless?? The offense made mistakes today, but still put up 33 points. That SHOULD be enough to win a football game.

How could you not place the blame on the defense for allowing a play that has not happened in NFL history?

And if Brady had thrown the ball away at the end of the first half, it's likely the Pats win. LOADS of blame to go around on this one.

Again SIX POINTS in 30 MINUTES. You can keep adding up and make it sound like the offense played well but in reality they only did that for one half.
