I would have felt a little better if the Ravens had managed to hold on to their lead and won .
Who made the call? Just so embarrassing.
Pats win next week, finish 12-4 .12-4 is usually good for a bye. Can we beat Pittsburgh? Idk. If we do I feel good about our chances still.
The 2 seed will probably produce a similar result to 2013, 2015, unfortunately.
GIFT WRAPPEDUp by 5 with 7 seconds left, backed up at their own 25 yard line with no timeouts and a gimpy QB.
I’m sorry, but you’d take those odds every single time if you could.
To lose that scenario is completely unacceptable. It’s the definition of choke and embarrassment, which is where we’re at now sadly.
They will still be the 2
Wouldn't shock me if Steelers fans are dreading next week as well. We've seen the Pats lose to inferior teams before only to go on the road and beat a more talented team later on. Next week will tell us a lot about this team. They aren’t winning in Pittsburg. On the road against an offense that could drop 50 on them. Pissed off, they’re demoralized in the lock
I’ll put a $100 on Pittsburgh to win all day long
Seems like a lot of people validate their existence based upon Pats wins. A bad loss is equivalent to an attack against them personally.
The line is more of a problemWe need like an entire new defensive backfield except for Chung and Gilmore
I highly doubt we see one on the field again in either event. Or at least I hope we don’t. There are guys on defense that can jump and have more experience actually tackling the receiver if the QB throws the ball short either intentionally or unintentionally. Bill is usually good at learning his lesson.
They've done it before.
It seems as though you’re moving the goalposts a bit. Your claim was that they’ve done it before, so that’s what I was responding to. I don’t believe they’ve ever done it aside from the ‘85 team, that’s all. From what I can remember the past 9 times have all included having the bye. Definitely all of the times in the BB/Brady era.Who said they have lost the bye? 3 games to play. They've had the bye and not made it too
Says the moron who thought the defense was fine today that opinion alone lays bare the simple fact that you're ******ed and nothing you say matters
Beat CHI, NY, BUF on the road.True.
Also true that we aren't winning on the road, looking at the teams we would have to beat to do so.
Having Gronk back there in jump ball situations is dumb. Sure, he’s tall, but he can’t move around very well and I don’t know that he’s able to jump that well anymore.
At any rate, this wasn’t even a jump ball scenario, so it makes absolutely no sense to have him as the last line of defense. That’s entirely on the coaches, namely Belichick. Ryan Tannehill wasn’t putting the ball 75 yards in the air.
Yes it did. Several wasted opportunities in every phase of the game.agree Sammy, this one really hurt
Sure, anything's possible. The Giants and Ravens both won in years where they weren't one of the five best teams. Those aren't conflicting statements thoughAnd the Super Bowl will probably end up being the Seahawks and the Patriots. That's football.
