We're on to Miami

If it was in Buffalo I'd give them a shot, as I always will a division road game but they had their one shot of the season earlier and despite the Pats playing a pretty bad game still lost.

The Bills defense is still top-10 and they were excellent yesterday against Miami. The Pats offense only hung 18 on them in the first meeting. The Bills lost that game because their offense sucked balls. They barely lost to Miami yesterday because their ST and offense kept shooting themselves in the foot.

That same Bills defense, and Josh Allen getting his sh it together for just a couple more plays/game, could be tough regardless of the venue. The Pats history against them from previous seasons doesn't mean squat.

The Miami game is the one I worry most about. Division game + playoff hopes + weather = anything can happen.

I'm not taking the 'Fins game lightly. However, if the Pats play "clean", and as disciplined as they played against Minny for 60 minutes, Miami doesn't really have anything to counter with this season, on offense or defense.

Weather worries me. It’s about 80 degrees at 1pm. Hope we aren’t trailing at the start of 4th quarter.

Yup, last 5 games there, we're 1-4.

Dec 2017: L (27-20)
Jan 2017: W (35-14)
Jan 2016: L (20-10)
Sept 2014: L (23-20)
Dec 2013: L (24-20)

I legitimately already forgot that it was Jay ****ing Cutler who beat us last year.

The Pats record against Miami in previous seasons really has little or no bearing on this season. The 2018 'Fins are a different team. The 2018 Pats are a different team.

I'm a big fan of this thread as a lot of good information and analysis comes from it.

With that said leading up to this game it's all useless as WSAHIM* is overriding.

*(weird **** always happens in Miami)

Current forecast for next Sunday is:
- low 80's with 65% humidity at game time after possible morning showers and T-storms
- substantial and increasing cloud cover and a decent breeze at the start of the game, with temps dropping into the mid/upper 70s during the 2nd-half as a cold front moves through

Doesn't seem that awful.

dolphins can't stop the run.....I like the pats in this one

I would like to see Gronk take this game off. Rest him for the Steelers game. He looked terrible yesterday.

Negative run percentages by team:

Miami is abysmal against the run as mentioned above. Our rushing game is quite dominant.

I imagine we hit on more of the screen game against their lack of discipline.

I know Miami is a house of horrors of sorts, but no reason we should lose this game against their defense. It’s not like one of the many we’ve lost to down there.

It does look a “cold” front could rolling through so possibly some rain and overcast conditions. Humidity is the bigger issue

From what I can tell he isn’t particularly hurt. This is just what he is now and resting him for a week won’t change that.
