Ruben Foster

Is that 2 women beaters on the Redskins now?

Do people forget we literally signed James Harrison last year?

This is really bizarre that the 'Skins would claim a guy who probably will get kicked out of the league.

Why would he get kicked out of the league over a misdemeanor?

He's been arrested so many times within the last year. I'd be shocked if he's not at least suspended for at least a year. He makes the league look really bad. And why would any team want to take on that risk?

Because he's a talent that might help their team.

And, if memory serves, he's been arrested twice this year, this being the second, so I'm not sure where you're going with the "so many times...." angle.

When I heard he was claimed, I was praying we didn't claim him. Thank god, but he shouldn't have been claimed and shouldn't even be allowed near an NFL stadium!

Their situations are hardly identical. Harrison had one incident a decade earlier, owned it, went through counselling and had no recurrences. That is hardly akin to Foster's situation.

Nope your memory doesn't serve you.

Foster was arrested for a misdemeanor Marijuana charge in January.

He was arrested in February for Felony DV, Weapons charges, and intent to inflict bodily harm. The DV and Intent charges were dismissed. However, the weapons charges were not.

His 3rd arrest was for misdemeanor DV charges which led to his dismissal from the 49ers.

Three arrests in 11 months for charges ranging from drugs to weapons to bodily harm, including a felony, would constitute "many" to me. But, that's just me.

I'm not surprised one bit that Washington claimed him considering they're ok with child beater still beating his child. What a ****ing joke that the NYJFL* is not looking into that.

Redskins senior VP of player personnel Doug Williams released a statement on Foster saying the team "fully [understands] the severity of the recent allegations made against Reuben."

"If true, you can be sure these allegations are nothing our organization would ever condone," Williams said. "Let me be clear, Reuben will have to go through numerous steps including the full legal process, an investigation and potential discipline from the NFL, as well as meetings with counselors associated with the team before he will ever have the opportunity to wear the Burgundy and Gold as a player."

Lol, what a ****ing liar you are Doug Williams. You continue to let that child beater play when he admits to beating his child. As if you really ****ing care. ****ing scumbag liar.

Washington is who we thought they were... Sister team of the Cincinnati Bengals... the only two teams with probation officers on staff...
