Week 12 NFL Games

You don't say Booger, well shame on you for sitting on that contraption and blocking people's view who paid hard earned money to watch the game. Check yourself before you use the word shame. Asshat!

Don’t underestimate the leagues want to have a enough teams at 8-3 etc to keep pace with the Pats. They have dreams of a WC weekend Pats game.
Having the Pats as deep in the Playoffs as possible is best for the NFL. KC vs NE/Pittsburgh for the AFCCG is what the NFL wants. Saints vs Rams in the NFC.

I believe the story was, they wanted Al Michaels. I think Al Michaels was supposed to move on to something else? The details are fuzzy to me.
I'm confused. Tireco left MNF because he signed on to take over for Al Michaels when he leaves but Michaels has had no plans to leave SNF.

Not really. In my opinion, they are more than done with Brady and BB. It’s all about the new guard and good stories ie Rivers.

No, a no playoffs Pats is ideal. A non bye Pats team is second best.

I don't know. All I remember is NYJFL* put a stop to it.

This is the same Tennessee team that waxed the Pats and the greatest quarterback and coach of all time...wow

The league wants the Pats in the playoffs. And rightfully so. They know the audience this team draws.

Watson vs Mahomes or Rivers vs Mahomes is what the league would LOVE to see in the AFCCG. The sooner the peasants from NE are put put to pasture the better.

Wanted to see a 300 yard rushing game! Just short. Oh well.

Can someone who watched this game explain to me how mariota could be 22/23/308 and only score 17 points?

He got sacked 5-6 times that either was on 3rd down or setup 3rd and long which they didn't convert

Meh. I don't see how the NFL would want to miss out on seeing another amazing QB duel like Brady vs Brees in the Superbowl! Don't even get me started if it somehow ended up being Pats vs Rams! There would be a million storylines going into that one! Mahomes so far has been a great story for the NFL this season! Funny you mention Mahomes vs Watson! You'll probably get that matchup in the Divisional round of the playoffs not AFCCG!

Do you remember Sptpygate? Or Deflategate? Do you think the powers that be did that to hurt or help the Pats chances at making the SB? How soon we forget.

The owners hate the Pats. They hate Brady, after they spend gobs of draft capital on QBs that suck and he is still chugging along. So no, the can drum up any storyline they want. Mahomes is in the HoF already. You’d think he is in his 5th year or something. Against the Rams, “Its the first time Mahomes has had a pix six in his career!”. Yeah 10 games dummy.

That’s why it won’t matter in about 15 years when Vinny Gumbatz out of Slippery Rock State reaches that in his 10th-12th NFL season.

One thing that will not be reached is Brady's 8 SB appearances and 5 wins. Those will be untouchable.

Well, to be fair, Aaron's next 4th quarter comeback against a winning team will be his first.

He got one in 2014 when Dez Bryant's TD catch in the playoffs was ruled no catch, even though it clearly was a catch. That's been it though.

Dome plus new passing rules. The fact the ‘07 Pats were that good is even more impressive.

By 07, the passing bubble was already very much inflating. I think the rules changed sometime around 04/05 when Ty Law was too rough on the Colts receivers.

Happy for him personally, considering what he’s been through. However, hopefully he’s not the “Eric Berry” he once was.
