I love that they went as far as to put him in a walking boot to convince everyone he's incapacitated by a "sprained foot" and not being benched. If they were honest about it they would've put him in a straitjacket.

Moore is right. He wasn’t actually thrown around like the broadcasters thought. He did a decent job on Wikfork, and he was just moving back slightly when a very stupid, brash young quarterback came barreling into his butt and took out his legs. Then again, if you decide to play for the Jets, you’re going to end up on a football follies reel, not a highlight reel.

It looked to me like the announcers were correct. Sanchize thought that he had an open lane but Big Vince closed it with Moore's arse. The play looked to me like Wilfork pushed Moore into where Sanchez was trying to run, but Sanchez didn't adjust accordingly to avoid the massive gluteal collision. A legendary event that has become football folklore.

The question now is: are the Jete tanking? The way it's turning out THIS is the year to tank, not last season. They were 5-11 last year then stupidly whiffed on the No. 1 draft pick they paid a king's ransom for. Now at 3-8 they might as well tank (again) and try for another quarterback.

I absolutely despise the Jete because they are bandwagon hypocrites. They have the nerve to call us bandwagon, but I was reading gang green 1-2 weeks ago and MULTIPLE veteran posters were saying how they are casual fans right because their Jets are bad year after year.

Maybe they could trade Darnit for a bunch of picks, develope the young guys, and save a bunch of cap space to use for acquiring vets next season.
