Le'veon Bell did not report to the Steelers, done for the year

I don't get Bell's thinking. The guy walked away from $14.5 million this year guaranteed. I think he was far less likely to have a devastating injury that would hurt his market value next offseason than him getting a contract that will recoup that $14.5 million in the offseason.

He's had a Jete-like year, seems like a match.

He's taken poor advice and is under the illusion he's some sort of justice fighter for player contract rights.

I can't fathom what he was thinking. I guess the Steelers won, at least Connor will think twice before pulling this junk when it is his turn for a contract.

I can see him on the raiders. With all the cap space and loading up thru the draft, they can afford him. Merry Christmas Carr.

It’s hard to imagine him ever making that 14.5 million back. If anything, next year he will be two years removed from football. Someone will give him a big contract, but it is not going to be anything like the contracts that Donald or Mack got. Plus he has effectively taken the Steelers out of the bidding process.

And the two biggest spenders the Rams and th Cowboys will not be In The market for a RB.

Question 1:
How much more valuable is Le'Veon Bell to a team than Sammy Watkins is?

Question 2:
If Sammy Watkins was able to get a 3-year contract for $48 million and $30 million guaranteed, how much will Bell make - with two years worth of cap increases taken into consideration?

It is extremely rare for a player of Bell's caliber to hit free agency while still in his prime. I think many people are underestimating how big of a contract he will be offered by multiple teams next spring.

Both sides lost on this. Bell lost 14.5 million, Steelers lost the opportunity to have a backfield with Bell and Conner.

Carr is not going to be the QB of Oakland. He's not Gruden's guy.

Horseshoe Power !

He could make the Colts strong also.

Todd Gurley got 14per over the next 4 years. This should be the contract bell is looking at signing in the offseason, taking him right through his prime.
