Without Shaq, I wonder if CP (Frankenback) can have the running performance we need? At least Tom should topple the 1000 yard mark.

Strange. I heard Gronk is retiring.

This game does not set up well for the Pats offense. Green Bay's defensive strength is their pass D and their weakness is their run D. The Pats may have a wr as the "feature" running back. Green Bay has held opposing teams to 221 ypg in the air with an outlier of 412 vs Minnesota. They're #5 in pass yards allowed. Green Bay yields 119 yards a game on the ground but there's no real outlier because they've given up 130+ yards 4 times. They rank 21 in run yards/game.

Green Bay isn't giving up a ton of long runs either; they just get consistently gashed for 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 yards a pop consistently. They've given up ONE 40+ yard run (41 yards, Minn, Peterson) and three runs in the 23-26 yard range (Det, SF, and StL).

My fear is McDaniels sees these #s and tries to go run heavy early, like he did vs Detroit when they ran 2/3 times and punted in their first and third drives of the game (second drive was 3 passes, punt) and before you know it you're down 10-0. Normally I'd be all for pounding it, but you're not pounding the ball with a kick returner/gimmick wide receiver or an injured Sony Michel.

Hopefully the defense can hold Green Bay to 20-23 points because I don't think the offense, with all their injuries and Gronkowski's poor physical condition, is going to click like they did vs Miami, KC, Indianapolis...

In other words, this game is again in your wheel house of doom and gloom from the 1st snap like every other game

Henceforth, injury reports will be submitted on microfiche.

Is that Brady's real account? Too funny if so!

It's his official account, but I highly doubt he creates the posts. The updates are fairly regular and entertaining. I don't follow social media, but I often see links to his account that I enjoy.

I wonder who is going to be the backup OL if Mason and Schwenke are both out. Can Waddle play G if Karras or Thuney get injured during the game (assuming Cannon can play at RT).

Well that packers thread over on the packers forum has gone off the ditch. Thanks a lot you stupid ******* patriots trolls! I wish you guys would just walk off a cliff!
