Amari Cooper traded to cowboys

A first for cooper is highway robbery by the raiders. Dallas just doesn’t understand value.
Drops don't show up easily in the box score lol. If you look at his stats they're pretty good, but they don't show all the drops and OPI.

So I think the raiders have 4 first rounders?!

They should have one of the most dominant defences within the next 1-3 years with the talent coming out this years draft

Just to put into perspective, we traded for a more talented wr (and yes more troubled off the field) for a 5th rounder and will also receive a 7th from the browns.

Earl Thomas, who was a star before getting injured, for a 2nd. OR Amari Cooper, who has been Dez Bryant like (in a bad way) the last 2 years for a first.

They gave up a 1st round pick. LOL

Gruden's taking a lot of **** now...when he comes up with 5 first-round picks for Cooper/Carr/Mack, and is able to rebuild that team into his system in a a few years, well, he may not be taking the same amount of ****.

I like what he’s doing. He wasn’t going to win with those players mine as well acquire assets that fit his system. And I liked Mack for Chicago, changes their defensive outlook.

As for Dallas, I hate this move for them.

His stats are awful. He had 2 big games. In the other 4 he was a COMBINED 4 catches for 36 yards.
Last year as a #1 with 96 targets he only caught 48 for 680.

Dallas would have been better off keeping dez.

Agree. I’m far from a gruden fan, but they are being smart. Quick fixes become quick fall-aparts.
IF they commit to the system they want to build and draft well, including lots of trades down with these picks taking advantage of desperate teams in love with one player, they will build it right and it can last.
Gotta find out if Carr is the guy though.

Remember when Dallas traded a 1st round pick for Roy Williams in 2008?

Maybe a change of scenery helps, but he’s looked washed up the last two years.

A first round pick for Amari Cooper?!?!?!?!?!

This is actually outrageous. I am pissed off.

I think that's already been determined by the Raiders that he isn't. If they can move him by the deadline somehow, they will. Otherwise, they'll move him at the draft.

Lol, the Cowboys forum is going crazy... The first few replies are all "I hope we don't overpay", "dont be a 1st or a 2nd" and then... the news break out
