Yeah, that’s not a guy that’s gassed. That’s a guy with hammy issues. It’s crazy that he’s even making this kind of impact when he’s clearly not anywhere close to 100%.
Certainly not going to say players never lie, but during the week Gordon said his hamstring was 100% and thanked the NE trainers and that it was “nice to finally get to open it up all the way” when running. And in today’s game after that long play he said he had to come out for a couple of plays because he was “exhausted”.

I hope that’s the case but he generally hasn’t looked anywhere near as fast as he used to be after getting the ball in his hands this year.

Bungle in the jungle.

KC getting away with a lot of flags.

This league has really screwed the pooch on these penalties.

The inconsistencies are worse than ever.
What a mess.

I'm sure that Belichick will adjust his practice regimen so that Gordon can work on his stamina..

BB to Gordon at the end of Practice: "Gordon.. 20 suicides on the hill.. then come see me"

Mack was hobbled, obviously..but while Andrews was playing "Beat Me Silly" Sally all day, it really didn't matter how Mack played. Once again, and this always gets lost because people just hate to see it repeated, this game was won because TOM BRADY, the GREATEST QUARTERBACK IN NFL HISTORY was behind center for 4 quarters. I know you lamebrained Gen MeMeMe nitwits hate having to deal with his excellence season after torturous season, but some us revel in his play and consider him to be the best of all time.

You read the *****ing about TB being off every week in the GDT you'd think he actually did fall off the cliff.

Lets do some basic math. The Bears scored 31 points. 14 was off a fumble on a kickoff and a fumble on a run. Both put them in incredibly advantageous field position where they were primed to score. You really can't hang the defense on that. Subtract 14 from 31 and you have 17. So two TD's and a field goal. Meanwhile the defense got two key INT's. They also got a huge sack in a crucial situation.

People are way too quick once again to look at the score and hang it all on the defense.

Great way to put it.

First on the list of things we need to fix this week are turnovers, we should be positive or at worst even in turnovers for each game going forward.

3 turnovers today led to 3 bears td’s, I think,

We have to win the turnover battle if we hope to avoid end of game hail mary’s.

I have a feeling this might his last media availability for a while. Jesus shut the hell up CP.

I think we've found the kick returner for the 2019 Eagles......

Patterson's KO fumble resulted in three points, I believe. He ran another back for a net of +4 points

Funny how Hogan is starting to come back to life after moving down the Wr depth chart.

This is some next level homer mental gymnastics.

I'm amazed at the excuses people have for this defense. It's incredible.

31 points allowed, 453 yards, over 50% on 3rd and 4th down, and 77 total plays. Sorry, but that isn’t good defense. You can put whatever window dressing that you want on it, but that’s bad. It would have been even worse had Trubisky not missed wide open receivers even without pressure. They also had opportunities for a total swing of 8 points and let up touchdowns on each possession when this is supposedly a unit that benefits from short fields (BBDB philosophy). They need to get much, much better.

Right now they're sixth in the league in points differential. Improving much much more is not going to happen but improving to good enough is possible and I would say they're close to being good enough now. Complimentary football.

When they start to strategize on defense, I bet they'll actually be good.

This defense is trash. The most we can hope for is them figuring out how to cover, explode off the ball, and run. If they can figure out those aspects, they'll be decent.

1. 7-0: NE O TD . NE D out at CHI 35 (allows 1 1st down) . NE ST leaves punt at 25
2. 7-3: NE O (3&out) . NE ST allow 17 yd return to CHI 37 . NE D holds to FG
3. 7-10: NE ST fumbles at NE 24 . NE D returns to the field at NE 24 without a break and allows TD
4. 7-17: NE O fumbles on 3rd play . D re-enters w/o break at NE 34 and allows TD
5. 14-17: NE ST score TD on returned kick
6. 14-17: NE D re-enters the field w/o a breather and forces 3&out at CHI 24
7. 21-17: NE ST 3 yd return to NE 34 . NE O TD . NE D forces punt (allows 18 yds)
8. 21-17: NE ST muffs punt to NE 4 . NE O punts (1 1st down)
END OF HALF
9. 21-24: NE ST allows 31 yd return + 15 yd penalty . NE D allows TD starting at CHI 42
10. 24-24: NE O scores FG
11. 31-24: NE ST scores TD (KVN) on blocked punt (High) . NE D re-enters w/o a breather makes INT at NE 21 . NE O punts after 5 plays
12. 38-24: NE D returns after short breather and makes another INT . NE O scores TD
13. 38-24: NE D stop 3&out for -10 yds at CHI 6 . ST fair catch at CHI 43
14. 38-31: NE O throws INT on 3rd play at CHI 37 . NE D re-enters w/o breather and allows TD

So NE D allowed 4 TDs and FG on short to very short fields (NE 24, NE 34, CHI 42, CHI 43, CHI 37) while hardly leaving the field.

NE D created 2 INTs, 2 3&outs and forced 2 more punts deep in CHI territory. Every time NE D started at normal field position (CHI 25 or less) it came out w a clean sheet.

To me this looks like Pats D was the most consistent unit of the complementary football making up for ST and O blunders as well as they could under circumstances.

But yeah, lets say this defence sucks, Brady is the goat, ST dont matter, cap is crap..
