After a horrible head to head regular season in 2017 (23-41) plus the Pats loss in the SB that would have finally seen the AFC catch up in overall SB wins in spite of the NFC's huge run from 84-96, the AFC still has a 95 game lead in head to head overall (1335-1240).
As for 2018, even though the conferences are tied at 7 wins apiece, the NFC has had a huge home field advantage so far with 10 home games to 4. This is the breakdown so far;

As far as overall winning records for the regular seasons, counting the first 4 season splits when we only met them in the SB, the AFC has a head-to-head record vs the NFC of 32-19-2
