There's no such thing as a designation anymore (hasn't been for a couple of years).Anyone have any information on Christian Sam? Is he able to be brought off ir? I don't remember him having an injury designation
Marquis Flowers is currently on Detroit.
Bentley can do a lot, but he can't run. Christian Sam can run, but apparently hasn't shown that he's ready to do anything else.
Not meaning to nitpick, but the player has to be designated during the window in which he begins practicing, and that is something that many here overlook.Everyone placed on IR after the cutdown to 53 is eligible to return. People don't have to be designated as eligible when placed on IR anymore.
Sorry, QM, I didn’t see this response; otherwise, I would not have posted. There's no such thing as a designation anymore (hasn't been for a couple of years).
Everyone put on IR after the cutdown to 53 (I don't recall when Sam was) is eligible to return. However, only two can actually come back. A slot is used up when a player on IR starts practicing, whether or not they ultimately get activated off IR.

Their last two drafts are looking attrotius in terms of actually getting their picks on the field.Let's be honest here, not trying to be a **** but, does anyone else had an immediate thought like, another pick that won't work, after the selection of Duke Dawson? Not to mention the cost/benefit of drafting a undersized slot CB that high?
Man the Pats needs to revamp their scouting department, totally, clean house.
With the way injuries are piling up, I don’t think one trade will save this team because there will probably be more injuries and there’s hardly any talent. But I do think the Pats will clean house this offseason like they did after the ‘02 season. I envision them getting aggressive in Free Agency and signing big names like they did in ‘03 and ‘07. The Pats are paying the price for their disastrous offseason moves. On the plus side we are officially desperate and now we can make some trades on D.
These are all the players who should have a suitcase ready
Donta Hightower
Devin and Jason Mccourty
Malcolm Brown
Danny Shelton
Chris Hogan
Philip Dorsett
Cordarelle Patterson
Joe Thuney
Eric Rowe
None of these players are safe based on recent play

You are correct of course; unfortunately, we're beyond 2013, or even 2006...the Way-Back machine has now been officially dialed to 2002, heading towards 2000...You mean we're on our road to 12-4 and an AFC Championship game?
I dig that name, eLOLandon Roberts...that's my name for him from now on...So there goes that idea of dropping Hightower down to DE. They’ll need him back there. And we get to see more of Elolandon Roberts back there too.
I would've tried signing Bowman before trying to sign Simon, who is simply a square peg in this round (a-)hole of a defense.Navarro Bowman
