The Colts' coaches seem to be idiots.
That said, way too early to make a judgment when a QB is coming back from that serious an injury directly related to how he throws the ball.
I'm willing to wait another month before I write the guy off.

I’m willing to reserve judgement for the whole season if it means he stays being the starting QB ;)

What was he before the injury ? Between 09-16, Luck was 18-23 (.439) vs teams with winning record... as our friend Cousins would ask « you like that ? »

Beyond that, he had a losing record against all teams not in the AFC South.

Its not sarcsam, i remember those bumpkins from the early 000's and arguing with them about they're deification of Fore Head
Now that you mention it, the user name looks familiar... Sorry.

Amazing that colts fans think Brissett is better option than Luck.. kinda agree. maybe AndyJohnson should clue them in... Lol

Watch luck come up lame next week with mystery leg injury..in comes JB..

I've always felt that while Luck is certainly a talented QB, he was horribly overrated and not nearly elite.. Terrible decision maker

Brissett being a better option than a QB with an arm that’s shot doesn’t mean Brissett is a good qb.

We shall see... Hopefully..

What I saw last year doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence but if he gets his shot I hope he proves me wrong and turns into a good qb.

Pats have colts week 4. Thursday... Hmmm:cool:

They were worried Lucks throw would be short and then Brissett lets it rip and almost threw it out the back of the endzone

No, I don't like that, but I'm still not writing off a guy with as much talent as he has...yet.

That's partly the problem with anointing someone as the chosen one before they've backed it up on the field.

Personally have nothing against Luck, seems a decent fellow. But, might be time for the Colts to suck for the next pick.

IMO it's kind of a red flag to have a 29 year old QB and everyone's still making his case based on potential. He's solidly into what should be the prime of his career, and at this point he probably is what he is - after the injuries, you could even say it's optimistic to hope he'll get back to what he was.

And to be clear, what he was is a very good quarterback, and even in his current state he's a good quarterback, but it's not a generational talent and no-brain HOFer like everyone said he'd be from his junior year at Stanford onward.

At this point in his career, I think it's 50/50 whether he or Matt Ryan has more productive years in front of them as an NFL QB, and Ryan is more accomplished and less of an injury risk. So that's the conversation I think Luck belongs in - with the Matt Ryans and Matt Staffords of the world, aka the good quarterbacks who nobody seriously considers to be the best of their peers, let alone a QB of any historic significance.

He'll experience a miraculous recovery in exactly ten days....

They're dumb, he missed 600 days of football.

That's on them if they think you can just come back and play a a few games and be 100%.

Some of it is by design because they don't want him getting hit and killed while their LT is out and it was also bad weather and rain.

They should trade him and see how that works out for them in 2019.

A successful season for the Colts and Luck should be him playing 16 games and being better in the last 5-6 than he was in the first 10 and building the team for 2019, i'm not sure what they're really expecting this year?

They won 4 games last year, they think you just plug a guy in from 2 years off and he wins double digit games?

He also has the same problem as Brady right now, if you double Hilton who does he have to throw to?
