A torn labrum in his shoulder (amongst his other previous injuries) could mean simply he can never have the same arm strength he did before. Or the coaching staff could be protecting him from re-injuring it with a "give it all you got" heave.

I’ve had a torn labrum and tendon, also a torn acl and from my non nfl experience I would say give him another year before calling it a permanent injury. It actually feels better than normal into year 2 and beyond if the surgery is succesful. I just remember the first year being tender and still being able to feel the sutures etc.

I watched the end of the Colt-Eagles game.After a 4th down sack when a TD would have won it. (Colts had 4th and goal).Colts got the ball back with a minute left on their own 10 and all he threw were 10 yard check downs.. 12 seconds left and he threw a 10 yard out.. when it was Hail Mary time.. He is history if teams know he has no arm strength and they can play closed to the line.. They brought Brissett in for a Hail Mary because Luck couldn't throw it 20 yards and they were at midfield...
