The success of B.B. big linebackers were they they can tackle and stop the run. If you have big slow LBs that can not do both it’s a big problem.

He traded a first for him. So he got equal return.

That’s not high value when you break out even and have a depleated offense as the end result.

The remaining roster has nothing to do with the compensation value. And neither does what we traded for him last season. Getting a 1st round pick for a player (that isn't a generational talent) in the last year of his contract is never going to be peanuts.

Hard to judge the deal due to the Achilles injury. I do believe having Wynn would’ve definitely improved the line.

Anyone remember DE Carl Nassib from Hard Knocks? He made the 53 then got cut and is still a FA I think. Thought he looked decent at least to me.

Two weeks in a row of absolutely awful effort. Wise was pretty much the only bright spot.

I know the team isn't sitting around waiting for Edelman, but this really just goes to show how razor thin our depth is right now.

A pretty bad game from Brady, which isn't something I say very often. He clearly made the decision to go to Dorsett on the INT before turning his back for the play action and I don't know if he made a bad read or what...

Very disappointed in the effort we saw, but on the flip side this reminded me a lot of Josh's game against us.

Yet another team where we are their September Super Bowl victory. I still think we have enough talent on this team to win 11-12 games, but I can't believe we're crossing our fingers to end the season 2-2.

You are not watching the Defense most of us are... They can't get off the field. Add to that the Offense can't stay on it. This Team reminds me of that 2002 Team not good in any area.

It's probably crazy to say, but it almost feels like Bill is tanking the roster to chase Brady out of here. Since Kraft won't let Brady go and Belichick wants to prove he can do it without Brady, I have to wonder. Almost trading Gronk? Almost causing Brady to retire? Belichick is either fading or he is making moves to get the team good in 2021.

I'm not saying that's the case but I've been thinking it. Bill should resign or be fired if he's petty enough to throw season's away to get back at Kraft and Brady.

Youre mad because an even returned was labeled peanuts. I’m sorry I triggered you.
I thought the cooks trade was a good one and most of this board agreed when it happened. What they did with it is another story. And cooks is the same guy people were killing after his attempted hurdle in the superbowl.

No, they'll get it together. But there's a lot of work to be done.

I don't believe they have the horses to do it. DL was moved 3 yds backwards all night. No proven pass rusher outside of Flowers, and no playmakers in the secondary outside of Gilmore.

The offense is the least of my concerns

Improved, sure, no doubt.

But the line has been okay and given Brady time to throw.

Problem is he has no one to throw it too

Cooks would clearly remedy that.

I am not mad. I just think its kinda silly to get a 1000 yards out of a guy and then wheel him for what you paid.

They were not going to get more than that. So calling it peanuts is dumb. You made a dumb comment. Own up to it and move on

He was claimed off waivers by Tampa Bay the next day.

The point wasn’t the compensation being squeezed to the last drop bud, it’s the fact that they traded a thousand yard receiver, failed to replace him and expected Phillip Dorsett to step in and fill his shoes. Follow along.

Blaming this on Michel is ridiculous.

I can't speak for others but, in my case, pointing out that Michel's not ready is not an attempt to blame him. He's a rookie, and he was hurt. He just shouldn't be getting the snaps and touches he's getting, because he's not up to speed yet, and it's hurting the team.

That's on the coaches (and Brady, if he's feeding into it with checks, audibles and the like).

What was so bad about taking an OT/OG. We needed help on the line. Clearly evident tonight. If I knew Jeremy hill was gonna come into preseason looking like he did me personally I would’ve passed on Michel and grabbed DL/LB there.

After 18 yrs of watching this team and how BB he operates, you think he is a guy who will do this ? Are you seriously saying he could be losing on purpose and he should be fired ? And then what ? Make McD the coach? People **** on McD if michel cant get a yard. People will want fired after one series , let alone one game.
Every team in this league had bad games and years. Just because it hasnt happened to us doesnt mean we are immune to it. Instead there is a greater appreciation for it.
