Britt [MAY] re-sign w NE !

Matthews is a bigger danger for Coleman than a potential reunion with Britt. Actually the biggest danger for Coleman to get released is Coleman himself I guess.

Coleman may be able to help himself if he shows dedication and aptitude for returning punts.

I’d like to see Brit toss a block on Ramsey

Wow, that’s really interesting. So for all the anxiety about the WR position, in a couple weeks not only will Edelman be back but they could potentially also have one or two guys back that were here and looking decent in preseason as well. I suddenly feel a lot better about that position’s depth this year. Just hoping it doesn’t mean losing Coleman, since I would really like to see him get a chance to learn and develop. Might be a long shot, but they don’t get the chance at guys with his athletic ability at that position too often.

Definitely the very lowest side of “normal.”

Hope everyone is well!
Agree. 2 of our 3 girls were under 6lbs at birth but above 5lbs. One was perfectly healthy and the other had underdeveloped lungs. All 3 were full term. My wife is on the small side so who knows

That's nearly 6 lbs, well within the normal range.

@primetime, Only because you made a point of it and @Clonamery @robertweathers agreed with you, I thought I'd clarify.
In the US/UK, term is 37+wks with 40wks being full term.
The 10%tile weight for 37wk0d is 2500g = 5lbs8oz.
So little Lennox Britt being 5lb4oz is less than 10th percentile which would be rare for a term offspring of a 6ft3in father.
This is why I assumed she as preterm (but probably doing just fine).

Not that you care, my boy was a 5lb40z at 37wks and the other was 6lb at 38weeks. But I am 5 inches shorter than Kenny Britt.

You a doctor?

The wrong kind, but 5.5 lbs or above is considered normal, and there's no correlation between size of the father and size of the baby. (Research suggests there's some correlation between maternal weight and baby weight, but it's a relatively weak relationship.)

I think it's pretty irresponsible to speculate about a newborn's health based on one line that didn't suggest anything was wrong.

She was 5 lbs 14 oz., which would put her in your normal percentile, and paternal size doesn't matter. Talking about this on a football message board at this level of detail makes me feel icky so I'm going to stop responding to your speculation, which I would suggest is unfounded.

Barner apparently mentioned a couple days ago that Coleman has been catching punts in practice. Good sign.

0% surprise at this for me. I'm sure Bill hates Gordon and I was saying yesterday Matthews and Britt are NEs best available chances for impact WRs this year.

Recent research suggests that birth weight isn't as critical a factor in child development as how many time the kid is dropped on his head. Which reminds me, what's the over/under for Josh Gordon?

Barner violated Omerta: the code of silence
Lol, yeah, that was certainly a slip by Barner. But I don’t think revealing a new guy is catching punts is necessarily top-secret info. I doubt Jacksonville says “oh man, we thought Chung or Barner would be catching punts but it might be Coleman, this changes our whole game plan!” I don’t know if Coleman is even active - I doubt he is.
