It's not completely logical and of course, Patricia is by far not the "only" reason our Super Bowl defense was historically ****ing offensively bad....but it does reflect on just HOW bad of a performance that Super Bowl was that we actually seem be taking a cathartic perverse pleasure in watching him get blown out right now, even if by the dirty hated Jets, who we all certainly were rooting against in the first place

Thoughts on the Jets.

The Jets clearly have a decent amount of defensive talent. Stafford has been trash, but they are doing this with a banged up secondary. That DL is having their way with that Lions OL all night.

Darnold looks to be the real deal. Still a rookie and he will make mistakes ala the pick 6. But I don't think it will be easy to hold this Jets offense down (that has a good amount of play makers) all game. They should be able to put 20 offensive points up against most teams in any case.

I think the Jets will be going 7-9/8-8 this year and will have a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde feel to them. As for beyond this point, it all depends on if Darnold makes the year 2 jump.

Why would anyone disagree with this post?
