Source: #Patriots RB Jeremy Hill tore his ACL and will be out for the 2018 season. Awful.

well... that didn't take long... the annual ACL victim.

LOL that people in the other thread were speculating an MCL sprain. He pretty clearly tore ligaments. Doesn't surprise me. Good luck to him in his recovery.

All the sudden RB is thin. And no Jules coming back to add to that room.

I think White, Rex, and Sony should be enough but with Sony banged up already this got thin quick.

d%#*!@t. I held out hope but man that looked awful.

Hope he has a complete recovery and continues his career here.

Really sucks. Wonder if Webb is trusted enough to get the promotion.

Unfortunate, the annual NFL war of attrition has reared its ugly head early..

Good thing we still have three very good RBs. Burkhead and Michel will just have to take more carries while White remains a 3rd down back.

Really sucks about Jeremy Hill though. One year contract looking to prove himself then tears his ACL because of friendly fire.

We'll be fine if Michel is ready to go for next week. Burkhead needs to stay healthy

Rex is injury prone. White is part back, part receiver. Sony is nursing an injury. Can there be any doubt that Webb will be soon added to the roster? In fact, have a sense that White and Webb may be the only backs still standing at the half season.

I like Michel but he hasn't proven himself to be good nor is he healthy

I'm blaming you Gronk! Hold on to the ****ing ball! And before people say Gronk never fumbles. That's not true. He's just been lucky it was incomplete or a teammate recovered the ball.

Need to think in terms of roles rather than position. Hill was a 6'2" 230 lb guy who was tabbed as our short-yardage specialist (not saying he could not do more) also who filled several ST positions (we saw him block a punt Sunday). Webb, for instance, is 5'10" 190 lbs who brings very little overlap with Hill's roles. Same positions, different players. Will take multiple players to replace Hill's roles.
