If he is put on IR, he can come back later in the season. This year, there is no requirement to designate which player will return.

That’s why we draft a rb in the first round. If he’s ready then use him. Other teams are successful using their rookie rbs, I don’t know why using Sony isn’t your first option. Most of these rbs you guys want to bring in really doesn’t add anything that we don’t already have.

Agree, however Webb is smaller than Hill. Michel is the most suited to do what Hill would do for this team. The question is, is his knee ready?

I think the team will be ok without Hill, but one more injury at RB and it’ll be concerning...If anything, this allows Michel to have more touches and make more of an impact.

Sucks for Hill. The poor guy had obviously worked hard to get himself on the roster, and he's taken out by friendly fire in week one.

Promoting Webb (or any player) off the PS to take Hill's roster spot need not happen until near the end of the week. Signing a player from "outside" would more likely happen tomorrow or Wednesday.
