Hi,

So, I'm pulling the trigger this year and going to a game at Gillette.

I think I'm going to the Dec 2nd - Vikings game.

Where should I get tickets? Best seats for the money? Stubhub?

Do they usually go up or down the closer the game comes?

Hotel?

Are you a Patriots fan or Vikings fan?

My experience is that the tickets are priced a bit higher in the beginning and then usually come down near gameday when people are afraid to get stuck with them. Of course, that could be different if it ends up as a great matchup between two 9-2 teams (or whatever the records may be), or if an important player goes down and one of the teams start to spiral.

Also from Iowa. Went to the Vikes Pats game back in 2014, and got those tickets from StubHub.

However the Vikings were playing at TCF that year, so tickets were a bit cheaper back then compared to now at their new stadium.

Ebay can be lucrative.

If youre coming without tickets which I have done numerous times. The week before the game, the Vikings will send back tickets that they wont use. Check Ticketmaster.

Craigslist. Meet at a police station. Ask to take a photo of their drivers licence. You can tell a flim flam man from somebody legit talking over the phone. If the price sounds too good to be true thats because it is.

Looks like stating in Providence might be an okay way to go?

I don't plan on renting a vehicle.

Trying to fly in to Providence, shuttle to hotel, shuttle back to airport and take that shuttle directly to Gillette and then back.

Probably Friday to Monday.

I bought my tickets for week 1 a while back....and I am seeing that prices dropped by $50-$125 per ticket just in the last 2 weeks. I am flying in from CA...so wanted the peace of mind and I went the stubhub route.

If you know a season ticket holder...that's the best deal, IMO.

Otherwise, I'd go with Ticketmaster/Stubhub if I didn't want any risk.

For cheap tickets..Ebay is OK if the seller has good ratings/reviews...and like someone else said...craig's list, but meet at a police station and take photos.

And I am not sure there's a shuttle from T.F. Green to Foxboro...but Uber has it as a $40 ride (only 33 miles) right now.

Is 300$ alot to pay for the upper deck? 307?
