The Britt comment echos what Reiss said in June at OTAs. I think he is shaping up to be our potential yearly surprise.

Regarding Mitchell, dang.

I cannot imagine them getting much (if anything) for Mitchell. That's not meant to be a knock on him because I was really hoping he would be back this year, but he had 400 yards in 2016 before missing an entire season to injury and is now completely up in the air. That's just not a good recipe for ROI.

I find it odd they are trying to "trade" someone dealing with injuries. I mean, isn't that not only a red flag to other teams but not allowed?

This is not a good sign for Mitchell.

They have been high on britt but the guy has to make plays on the field and not practice. We will see with a lot of time under his belt now.

I am not shocked with mitchell but why not keep him?

Will give it to Britt, he’s played much better on cheaper deals.

I have to think one of Matthews and Britt, if not both, will maximize their production due to being on cheap, prove it deals this year.

Both had very productive years in 2016.

Edelman suspended, Hogan, britt, Matthews. A lot of people didn’t wanna include britt making the team but it looks like he will make it. I still have doubts with dorsett but we will see.

I bought Mitchell's superbowl 51 jersey on sale for 35 bucks. Why is it that every time I buy a player's jersey, they end up getting cut or traded?

Guy was huge. Why trade him? I wonder just how healthy he is.

Lucien is back!
Wasnt someone here super high on him here?
Mitchell for Lynch in Denver I kid I kid we would have to throw in at least a 4th.
By the way can we please stop drafting players with nagging injuries.

All NFL trades are contingent upon the traded player passing a physical with his new team, per the CBA. If a physical is failed, the trade is voided. Then the player reverts to his original team and can be "waived, injured" with a settlement, put in IR, kept on PUP, etc.

So... no, nothing against the rules is being proposed. Trading rules cover this.

I think a team obtaining a player can waive the right to do a physical, if (for example) there is a known injury that has a reliable recovery period. But that is almost never done.

Because he’s injured and has been since getting drafted. He missed some of his rookie year, came back for the playoffs, then missed all of last season and is reportedly still dealing with the same issues.

What purpose would it serve them to keep him?

Well that’s my point. It’s probably becaus he still has these nagging injuries. I am hoping britt shows something. He had a thousands yards not so long ago
