If you're meeting there, you better be more specific....it's very easy to get lost when you get in there.I’ll meet you in the Malcolm Butler thread.

I'm still mad, bro.and to be even more fair, the Patriots could be 3-0 if that debacle in 2012 wasn't such a robbery by the refs in the 24-23 loss. The Pats should have won the game by 10 points
and don't forget the 3 points BB eschewed at the end of the 1st half from the 3 yard line
The most damaging came at the end of the first half when coach Bill Belichick opted to throw with 6 seconds remaining instead of kicking the field goal from the Seattle 3. Brady was flagged for intentional grounding and the ensuing time runoff ended the half.
"You lose by one point and here are a lot of things we could have done better to not be in that situation," Brady said.
Seattle's defense gave up a season-high 475 yards after not allowing any of its first five opponents to top 300. ]The Patriots went eight consecutive drives without punting, and ran 85 offensive plays to the Seahawks' 55, yet could not get the touchdowns to put Seattle away.
So let's be fair, OK?
?
Only thing I'd say is a dominant secondary is what wins us Superbowls.Sounds dumb to me. We want to get in a bidding war to acquire someone at our deepest position? 13 million per for our 4th safety, or should we just start cutting Dbs. Also don't know when Shaq became a hall of fame guard.
That would be a pretty nasty defense given health (which is not a given with the Chargers).Earl Thomas will end up with the Chargers...if there is any common sense left in this screwball league.
Agree.Sounds dumb to me. We want to get in a bidding war to acquire someone at our deepest position? 13 million per for our 4th safety, or should we just start cutting Dbs. Also don't know when Shaq became a hall of fame guard.
Trading Mason is inevitable since when?

I'd much rather trade for a pass rush and develop the young guys once You get rid of players who can't cover or take angles you'll be surprised how good this secondary looks.
We have studs in Gilmore Mccourty a very good tough nosed player in Chung alot of potential between all the young developmental corners.
A potentially very good Nickel in Jonathan Jones.
We don't know if Rowe is a good player who was injured and ineffective or if Rowe is a long line in players who can't put it together once they get in the NFL.
If only we could put Richards brain in Rowe's body we might have something.
A more simplified aggressive scheme sounds to me like we prefer players who can take angles hit and cover vs know all the assignments but can't carry out one of them.
If so THANK YOU!

But we have to trade him before this season now?Since Norwell's contract raised the ceiling on the OG market.
I like Mason but I don’t understand when he became this elite guard commanding 8 figures annually. Seems that has been a topic of discussion only recently.
He is a very good run blocker but that’s less important in today’s game. And don’t forget he missed the block that led to the Brady fumble that lost the Super Bowl.
I hope we keep him but of all the players to break the bank for, I’d put him lower on the list.
Mason cost us the last super bowl by allowing brady to get strip sacked. And he allowed a lineman to bull rush him into brady in SB51. I haven’t been impressed.

Mason is going to command a big contract and the Pats aren’t going to open the checkbook that wide. Thomas is a hammer and would be a good presence in the locker room as well as a tone setter on the field. He plays similar to Rodney but I don’t think will freelance as much as Rodney did/could. He could give our D some teeth.
Brady allowed Brady to get strip sacked on that play. If your criteria for a good offensive lineman is that he never give up a sack, I think you're going to be massively disappointed forever.
I don't get that at all. Mason punched out weakly, Graham engaged and simply went around him with a simple grip and go. Mason was off balance, tried to through his body right out, but iGraham had enough leverage to get his left hand on the ball.
Rather go the Chandler Jones route and maybe get a late day 2 or early day 3 draft pick that might stick for 3+ years for Mason than one year of Earl Thomas and his salary.
I don't think anyone here will claim that was a good play by Mason. Just that, had Brady taken the dump off to White, that strip sack never happens. They were both to blame for that play.
