54... which is 13 points shy of what the Eagles scored.

50.

Rob Ninkovich or Mike Vrabel would’ve actually given us a pass rush in that game.

No I think we should continue to question the dysfunctional culture that in 17 years produced
15 div championships
27 playoff wins (and a .730 post season won %)
12 trips to the cubs championship
8 SBs
5 championships

Because we want to whine about a personnel decision that we don’t know the facts on and pretend that a different culture that would have led to a different personnel decision would not have affected the previous results.
I mean us pats fans, we have a lot to bltch about don’t we.

We do for another 48 posts, yes

Has anyone used the line, "the Butler did it" yet? See it's a popular trope and Butler may well have done something to get benched...get it? 45

Hopefully @Joey007 makes post 5611 ... he started the thread ... IMO.

He's apparently determined to finish it too. Regardless of how it looks or how little the poor cow has left to give. What the hell, powdered milk counts too right?

I was born while Lincoln was still president, I've seen every, single game since 1960 either on TV or in person ( yes, even those blacked out by traveling) and the degree to which the f###### whining over the Butler benching continues to resonate nauseates me. So, we're supposed to erase everything Belichick, the acknowledged GOAT, has accomplished over that BS? The crying and whining and *****ing about this has reached a ludicrous level. The way that suck defense played that day wasn't going to be bailed out by f###### Malcolm F###### Butler. Could he have helped? Sure. But, the fans, media and players who blame that loss on that coaching decision are scape-goating. Grow the f### up.

Actually, you might want to grow up instead of having such an embarrassing hissy fit over people taking issue with a baffling coaches decision.

You sound like an entitled little infant. And a dink... And it's "coach's", not "coaches."

Hey gramps, first off, go eat a worthers and take a nap, then Maybe chill the **** out and understand that the discussion here is trying to figure out How the GREATEST ****ING COACH OF ALL TIME some how managed to throw what should have been the easiest superbowl in the Brady Era of patriots superbowls.

The greatest coach, and argueably one of the best defensive minds in nfl history, BB allowed his team to play short handed, over some prideful hubris ******** and ended up giving up 41 points.

If you can't understand that, go join the guys who "heard rumors" by "sources" and when you ask for the rumor or the source they throw a ****ing hissy fit like you just asked them to turn evidence on the mob.
