"I go to Chick Fil-A because it's tasty, KFC has turned into wildly overpriced hot garbage since the Colonel died, Popeye's chicken pieces are too small, and there aren't any Pollo Tropicals in the area"

maybe we can start a New England chicken revolution.

Would you still put Pollo up against the Mom and pop Cuban and Latin places in South Florida (Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood area)? I think I would. It’s really that good.

Cutting out all sugary drinks has helped tremendously. Haven’t had a coke since the Xmas holidays. I was shocked that just one soda practically doubles your recommended sugar allowance for the day.

Tbh once you cut out any sodas and just stick to drinking water, milk and some orange juice, you instantly feel a tremendous amount healthier. I don't think I've had a soda for years.

How long did it take you to develop Type I cognition? Just about everywhere is completely different than the Northeast from a cultural standpoint.

The best way to describe it imo is that if you live in the North East it's very no nonsense point a to point b. Anything that gets in the way of that instantly becomes an affront to existence.

Therefore you have a lot more abrasive people.

I really don't understand how there is an opioid crisis in this country when you have Pepperidge Farm soft-baked oatmeal & cranberry cookies just sitting on store shelves.

Having lived in Miami for a while, I got to visit the good, the bad, and the ugly about the local spots. Pollo Tropical was good stuff, no question, though I wouldn't put it up against my favorite locals. There was a place (name escapes me at the moment) that could make a simple arroz con pollo dish taste out of this world.

Thats my biggest problem with California-based In-N-Out Burger. The staff is so bend-over-backwards, sugary sweet, customer-focused to the point of making us Northerners very uncomfortable.

They even smile at you.

I didn't think they were even in Massachusetts. Tons of them down here in SC and there's always a 20-car line in the drive thru and the inside is always packed with people. They are so efficient it rarely takes more than five minutes to get an order.

Feel a little bad for BB having to be filmed ordering fast food, like he can't have any privacy. Shouldn't have won all those games/super bowls.

The only redeeming quality of Chicopee. I remember eating the sandwich in car and crying back to Springfield at 100mph on the 141.

Much better situation now, I have one a mile or two away from me here in Ocean Beach, San Diego. Depending on time of day, 10 minutes or 30. Still rage when hungry for chicken on Sunday.

I have cousin, born and raised in Chicopee, who moved out to San Diego. After living there for several years, she moved back to Chicopee.
