Tedy Bruschi is Bruins honorary captain tonight

What a bullsh*t game

We can definitely
When did Tampa become the Habs or Pens to get games handed to them like that?
Disgusting

You want consistency on both sides and you haven't seen that. We get called with soft ones and they don't get called for the rough ones. What a joke.

Props to Marchand for the lick though. I think he might be my favorite player of all time.

Of course if he played for another team we'd think he was a seriously disturbed psychopath but hell yeah, gotta love the Nose Faced Killah

Hey man, remember when Gretzky was on the Blues?

I think they also got shafted that year

A line of Gretzky, hull and shanny all in their prime and they still couldn’t get it done. That’s when I knew the blues were cursed.

Lol. Ole Billy would be in jail for the **** he pulled

Got that right. Look at the way they went off on Marchy for that great hit on Callahan, we used to call that a perfect hit from a smaller player.

It's very difficult for me to believe those refs reviewed the game film of the Sens series a year ago

Unless their attitude is "Hey, we can screw Boston any time we want!"

Then it all makes perfect sense

Gretzky got calls even LeBron and Sid the Kid could only dream of getting. We're talking Kobe level calls
DEFINITELY opposite the treatment of Bobby.

I know he had a bad temper, but Orr was pissed at the refs for good reason

The stars back then were held to a completely opposite standard. Richard, Howe, Hull, Orr, they got all kinds of liberties taken with them. It's no surprise they played angry. Guy LaFleur and the constant Habs crying was when it all seemed to change then it went straight into the tank over Gretzky.

Maybe a little, I attribute it to just running into the buzzsaw that was the 90s redwings

Mike Illitch's Wings, the reason the NHL finally got a salary cap. He was the anti Jacobs. Dude was carrying an MLB sized payroll, that was a lot of Pizza Pizza. The man did not care, just wanted to win. He almost made Steinbrenner and DeBartolo look cheap lol

Those squads were stacked. Pretty much an NHL all star lineup once they added the Russian national hockey team to their squad.
