First 3 time captain in Purdue's history. Rare for a sophomore to already be a team captain. Bentley shows some Bruschi-level fire/energy.

Also Elandon Roberts sucks so bad, zero awareness whatsoever; Roberts and Jordan Richard need to be cut immediately from the 2018 squad

Does the draft of Christian Sam mean they're competing for the same spots or a different LB role?

This article suggests Sam is a good coverage linebacker with motor/consistency issues, so a complementary LB to what Bentley brings:

I was going to make a joke questioning how motivated the receiver was to try to take down Bentley (I figured he was about as eager to make the tackle as Revis was to take down Derrick Henry in the Titan-Chief playoff game), but you know, seriously Bentley's speed looked fine on that 60 yard play. Maybe he is just one of those guys that plays faster in pads.

And we've reached the point in the draft in which Bill Belichick mails it in and starts taking UDFA players. The Patriots notoriously have a small board, and Bentley certainly is a UDFA prospect

It's easy to get enamoured with highlight videos but he reminds me a bit of Adalius Thomas on that video (with less athleticism). That pick 6 reminds me of Thomas versus SD in 2007.

He seems like he will be competing with Elandon Roberts for a roster spot as a Mike LB who can play on the edge at times. Apparently he's intelligent and ran all the signals for Purdue. His athleticism will likely always limit him as a 3 down player but it seems a solid 5th round pick and an upgrade over what we have.

I tend to agree but he says he ran a 4.64 at Purdue.

That is a helluva lot better that 4.85.
