This is the official round 1 thread. Please DO NOT post picks until they are announced by the networks (Fox, NFLN, ESPN).

Pats hold picks 23 and 31. With two first round picks, this could turn out to be an incredibly important draft for years to come.

What are your hopes and expectations tonight? Personally I hope NE concentrates on defense tonight (LB, DE, CB) and offense tomorrow night.

While I don't want them to trade up if they trade up for Rosen I wouldn't completely hate it. If they pick Jackson or Mason in the first round or god forbid trade up for either I will lose my 5h1t.

If they trade up for Rosen and he is the next franchise QB and delivers on that no one here will care it cost 2 first rounders. That's the truth. If they do it and he doesn't deliver....

More than likely. Just wishing he’d fall within range for a small trade up to possibly snag him. Maybe someone ahead of us falls in love with a Hughes or Jackson

Maybe but that means someone might drop like Jackson from Iowa. Jackson from Iowa likely will be the 3rd defensive back taken. You can get some other corners in the second round. Averett from Alabama or Jackson from LSU. Hughes could go in the first round as well.

I know in prior years we've had issues with posters spoiling picks before they were announced on television. This has been frustrating for a lot of people.

Any recommendations, not sure how to prevent this other than banning( maybe two threads, one spoiler, one non spoiler, not sure lol)

That's a good deal for the seahags. I would do it if they believe they have some good value with some players in the second round.
