Prime Time games (Sunday 8 pm/4 pm) - Green Bay, Jacksonville, Pittsburgh
Monday Night - @ Miami
Thanksgiving - @ Detroit
I wondered if we might open at Miami. When we opened there in 2014, it was a 33-20 loss. The league would love us to lose our opener.

This cannot be an opening day game. This has to be a mid season match up in prime time. However, Fox and CBS love blocking the best games and that's a big reason why the ratings have taken a dip.
They don’t get to block games that are originally assigned elsewhere.

I expect this will be SNF in the middle to late half of the season.

Could see it as first SNF or MNF Game. Before Nov, is cool with me.

They like better to have the almost November at Miami almost guaranteed loss

I think a sleeper candidate for an SNF game would be Titans Patriots.

Playoff teams from year before normally get at least 1 SNF game, and I’m guessing they’ll try and give the Titans one against a big market team. Plus the story lines will be juicy in that matchup.

One of my favorite times of the year....it is when I plan my entire year out too....buying holiday plane tickets around games and backing out on events on game days.

Pats traveling to Jacksonville has to be a SNF prime time game. Titans are overrated.

Doesn’t mean they won’t get an SNF game though.

No doubt the Jags one will be national TV though.

Prime time games for SNF/MNF need to be Packers at Pats, Vikings at Pats, Pats at Steelers, Pats at Jaguars. The NFL is just wrong if they have any of these slated at the 1pm ET or 4pm ET slot. But as usual, CBS will protect the Pats/Steelers matchup. And it's criminal we've never seen a Brady/Rogers match up in prime time.

I don't want to see any Pats/Dolphins or Pats/Bills SNF/MNF nonsense.

I've been texting back and forth today with my buddy who helps me plan the annual trip down from NB, Canada with a group of friends and the hope is being able to make the Packers game the game this year. Here's hoping to a good home schedule this year.

Putting the Titans in primetime makes perfect sense in an attempt to elevate Mariota to the next level of QB's in the public eyes.

I wish they'd just release the damn schedule in the morning instead of making it a "television event" at night. I'm surprised there isn't an official "fantasy announcement special" where millennials are shown being served light beer in loungers while they gaze into their smartphones as fantasy points are awarded. Yes, I'm an angry traditionalist old fart.
